Great fit. Maybe 3 mounting holes were ~10% off-center. I did not need to alter this plate in any way to get it to fit and the screws all fastened flat and snug. Plate sits exactly where it should on guitar. Quality feels fine, edges feel good, finish is good. Only issue I see was the lower pickup screw on the bridge P/U is very, very close to the volume knob. It doesn't make contact, but it only barely clears. I guess an inch is as good as a mile in this case. Would buy again. ... show more

This is a great kit, the pickguard shape is perfect for a MIM Strat, seems well made, and comes with screws too! The aluminum pickguard shield I got to pair with this went on it perfectly too. Well worth the price, on my next build I will definitely be buying another one of these.

I’m very particular about American Stratocasters. I chose this product for the rich, green color, not available from fender, and for the quality and value. The fit and color were excellent. My only complaint, is that the bridge pick up screw makes light contact with the volume knob. Backplates fit perfectly too.
