    • It’s great but watch for dog hair
I was blown away by how good this is, my only issue is the brush. I empty it daily and dog hair gets wrapped around the brush. I have a German Shepard but it handles well.

    • How did I live without it?
I love this little monster. No, I seriously love it. I showed up late to the robot vacuum party because I didn't think it was money I needed to spend. Then we rescued a dog. We should have gotten a dog who's hair matched the carpet, but yeah....no. We have hard floors with a lot of area rugs. This dude handles every transition with ease. The mapping feature is top notch. It's super easy to clean. I love being able to run the "ultra clean" cycle on just the living room when someone is coming over. The app has worked flawlessly, even when I start it from work. We also have thickly padded rugs in the kitchen in front of the stove, sink and the main work area. I thought I was going to have to move those when this little guy got to the kitchen, but nope- crawls up and down on them with no issues whatsoever. I don't do the entire house every day, but I do run it every day - usually half the house one day, half the house the other day, and ALWAYS include the living room, just because the dog hair is so noticable there. This thing better last a long time, because now I'm spoiled and don't want to picture life without it. ... show more

This little guy has an appetite for charging cords and nerf darts but he cleans his buns off. Much quieter than my last roomba, and smarter. He maps as he goes and cleans in a pattern, not like roomba, who cleaned like a drunk maid. This critter hardly gets stuck and he can clean specific rooms via Alexa. The dirt bin is pretty big and the rollers don't get tangled up with hair like roomba did. Overall, way better experience than roomba for much less than a roomba. ... show more

Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of this unit. Like my two other Shark vacuums, it rarely gets stuck, navigation capabilities are great, the suction is excellent. This is the first model I've owned with the self cleaning brush. I don't have a pet, but I do have a wife with lots of hair! I have to say, it's not a gimmick, it actually works. Every time I empty the vacuum, I check the brush and it's perfectly clean. Excellent! On the downside, the design of the filter inside of the collector bin makes it difficult to easily empty and clean. There's a guard positioned at an angle that traps dirt and dust making it a little tough to empty. You're not supposed to get the filter wet, so rinsing it out isn't an option. I don't know why I didn't buy one of these sooner. I have really bad allergies and since getting this, I have some improvement. I don't like that I only get about 45 to maybe 55 minutes of run time before the it needs to charge. And it takes forever to charge fully. I don't care that it doesn't have the self dumper, because you have to dump that. Your floor does have to be picked up, can't even have a piece of cat food, as it will get stuck. But, this is overall one of the best things I've ever purchased. ... show more
