Great bike lock. It makes me feel alot better about leaving my bike when I enter work. One thing I will say is it dose not work well with some bike racks if they are to low. But it is a high quality lock and im glad I bought it to protect my bike.

I got this bike lock specifically because a friend said it was one of the sturdiest out there/would make my bike hardest to steal. It worked great for the first 5-10 uses, but then the key lock stopped turning all the way unless I 1) pressed extremely hard on the side of the lock with the key hole and 2) tried to lock it 10-20 times .. eventually one of the turns would work. I tried WD-40 and it didn't help. Two days ago, I was in a rush and didn't have the 10-15 minutes it took to lock my bike with the U-lock. So, I put the U-lock on my bike, and after it wouldn't lock from me trying to lock it for 5 minutes, I gave up. I positioned the lock so it looked locked, but it wasn't fully closed (since I couldn't turn the key!) I came back two hours later and my bike was gone. The lock was on the ground. I was going to submit a claim because I was under the impression that a high quality lock would have a lifetime warranty. But upon reading the fine print, you have to PAY $10 AND REGISTER YOUR LOCK WITHIN 15 DAYS OF PURCHASE. I did not do that, and now I am down both a bike and the money it took to purchase this lock. Not to mention, I bought the lock less than a month ago, and it is broken! Do not make the same mistake I did by buying this. ... show more
