Only thing maje it better is no cord. But, they have one with 12 min run time like 150$+ for less than 15 mins and super long charge time. I got this for work and home. Work trying to find a better way to clean up dog hair with all the hair without a sharp object of some kind. Plus, need ling running. Ran for at least almost 2 hours with 3 people self included and we all think this vaccum rocks. We @ #MnMCleaningLLC do construction cleans on new homes and we have teo other sharks, we reach for this one. It was great on cleaning dust/dirt/cuttings off shelves & walls. Was great getting cobwebs out corners up high and down low. The mobility of it takes so much strain off my body. Not have to get down on the ground. Now onw that bends has to be awesome. The price I paid I could never complain unless it burns out sooner than it should. Forward is great backwards well not as much as forward. Just will require couple more passes. I got the red one only because it was cheaper. Jo matter the color if uou don!t mind tge cord this is a great vaccum! After using for some weeks now, I still love it but found if you are dealing with a lot of pet hair, it fills the first side and can't feel the other side. You have empty it more often. This is a great stick vacuum! I needed a vacuum capable of cleaning both my upstairs (carpet) and downstairs (vinyl with a few rugs). I also needed something light enough to cart up and down the stairs, AND I wanted to be able to use it on my carpeted stairs too. I have a dog and long-haired cat that shed, plus a toddler, so the carpet part is very important to me. After researching dozens of stick vacuums, I decided to try this one because of the lower price point and the reviews about how well it vacuumed carpets. I am very impressed! It works SO well on both floor types and makes cleaning the stairs extremely easy. I love how easy it is to switch between using the attachments and the stick vac, and it picks up everything my old, huge regular vacuum wouldn’t (kitty litter, fur embedded in the carpet). I also like that it comes with a 5 year warranty. The only big negative for me is that it does not stand up by itself. I bought this to use on my lower level floor which is luxury vinyl tile so I wouldn't have to lug my vacuum downstairs. It works well. Goes pretty far under the couch. Picks up the cat litter my cats track in from the basement. It's pretty easy to empty the cannister. The only cons, which I can live with, are that it doesn't stand alone, has to lean against something, and the detachable handheld part isn't that convenient to detach and use, I rarely use it. But overall I would recommend it if you are looking for a lightweight vacuum, much easier to use than a broom. ... show more

I’ll start by admitting we have 3 big dogs and 2 cats. I purchased this for in between full cleanings with my full sized vac. However, I just tested it on a week’s worth of dirt and fur and it performed flawlessly. The dirt cup holds enough to vac a large room or 2 bedrooms and is super easy to empty and take in and out. The cord is long enough to clean large areas. I’m glad I got the corded, as I was worried about the battery ones not having ample suction. A+ for my needs ... show more

Purchased this vacuum last summer with money received from our wedding registry. We have minimal vacuuming needs (a Roomba that we run regularly plus all hardwoods/tile with only a few area rugs) and are also low on storage space, so we were looking forward to getting rid of our big old clunky Dirt Devil. Researched stick vacuums and purchased this one specifically for the price point and the positive reviews on the suction power, especially relative to pet mess as we have two cats that like to shed and track litter. I’m disappointed to report that this thing does not do the job. I run it over cat litter for five minutes straight just hoping it will suck something up and it picks nothing up. Literally does not do it’s intended job on either setting (floor or carpet setting!) I tried to use it to spot clean around our patio door where dirt and other things are tracked in, same deal. Picks up nothing. I end up having to go behind it with the hand vacuum or run our Roomba if I want a thorough job done. I also was not aware when I purchased it that it does not stand up on its own. This is a horrible design flaw. Not only does this make it terribly annoying to store, but IT IS A HUGE HAZARD. Not stable at all. You can’t lean it up against a wall or table even and expect it to stay standing up. Take it from me, I leaned it up against the wall this past weekend and grabbed the cord to go plug it in, turned around and it fell over DIRECTLY ON MY FOOT fracturing one of my toes (yeah, not kidding). This thing is the worst. Take my advice and find another vacuum with better suction power that won’t send you to urgent care on a Sunday with a swollen purple toe (I will spare you the photo). ... show more

I am absolutely shocked at how awesome this little vac is. Lightweight Easy to use Long cord Pivoting head, and it works very well A nifty little feature in the head that somehow spins hair or string neatly around a mesh cone, which makes it easy to remove. LOVE this feature Plenty of suction power Great on hard floors, and SUPER easy to switch back and forth between carpet and hard floor The detachable head is easy to use on furniture and stairs The only negative, and for me it is a small negative is the way it stores. The head is heavier than the base, so it doesnt store well attached. You have to remove the head and hang it on an included catch designed for this.
