I am 5'8" 160lbs. typically wear a Medium but with 10lb weight gain recently, almost a Large now. One reviewer did mention to size up, I did not. The medium fits perfect, if I was 5lbs. heavier it might not and I am small chested, so if I had bigger arms and bust, a large might be better. This dress is long even on me. It is a good quality dress for the money, it is not sheer, but if light shines through you can see a bit, but not enough to worry. I bought the navy and it is as pictured, you can dress it up or down. A great dress for a wedding, shower, work, weekend! I will probably buy another color

Apricot cream color I rated a 5, the navy, red, and black dresses with elbow up model photos aren't lined like apricot cream so only 4 stars for inconsistency. After getting the apricot cream color, I ordered several more colors based on the dress fabric, features and fit. Unlike at least 3 other colors I ordered after, apricot cream color is lined and has a great feel to fabric which has a flattering hang and doesn't attract pet hair. The color "apricot" is a bit strange of a color title as it's more a warm cream, but I love the cream color. The other colors I ordered are not lined, feel different which greatly disappointed me as I felt the lining was great.on the first dress prevented see through effect. it's extremely difficult to understand what youll be getting unless it's based on the model cover for each color. This dress I've received many compliments on. XL isn't always a good fit so I felt I was gambling, but I was satisfied with it. Not baggy, also not very stretchy, except in the waist which is great. I'm tired of too much stretch in other dresses. The models with elbows up in navy, black and red aren't lined. Not a deal breaker but disappointing as the fabric texture is slightly different from cream Apricot. Still I like the fit and stretch at high waist. That I'm keeping the colder unlined dresses regardless of being slightly disappointed.

I love this dress! The wine red is a wee bit more burgundy than the product image I see on my screen in that it leans on the brown side of wine rather than blue / purple tone of red. I failed to notice the length before ordering (my fault) so it is too long on my 5’2” frame without significant heels, but I am taking it up so it will be fine. As others mentioned, the buttons are sewn to a piece of fabric that allows closure without a gap, which I greatly appreciate. I am a 36C and the bodice is not too tight. The sleeves are flowy, as is the skirt. I ordered a Medium and at a current weight of 138 I would not want to go smaller. I am losing weight so it will be more comfortable soon but Large would be too big now. A medium will do well due to the elastic waist even if I lose significant weight from here. The material is heavy and does not require a slip to avoid being see through. Being heavy, long, and of synthetic material that does not breathe well does make it rather toasty to wear. It will be lovely in the cooler months but I was anxious to get out of it in mid 70’s weather with A/C inside. I really do love this dress though as it is very flattering and feminine. I also bought it in the Navy (Swiss dots are smaller than this one), and the square neck orange. I have no regrets.

It just didn't work or look good on me. My daughter said I looked like a woman from back in the day. Maybe she met early 1900s. I was looking for a funeral dress not a costume. The woman advertised looks fine, but not on me.
