Description

The PowerDetect robot vacuum is powered by 3 deep-cleaning technologies that enable the robot to maximize performance by sensing mess level, floor type, and edges & corners. DirtDetect sees even the hidden debris and automatically increases suction and cleaning passes to remove the mess on carpets and hardfloors. The only robot with NeverStuck technology, it will navigate around obstacles AND lift itself up and over thresholds and onto thick carpets. Not only can the robot deep clean, but you also do not have to worry about it getting stuck. PowerDetect finishes the cleaning mission every time and with each clean will empty itself into its bagless base that contains a HEPA Anti- Allergen Seal trapping dust & allergens inside.

  • This baby rocks! 🤩 This baby rocks! 🤩
We went through so many robot vacuums trying to find one that worked as good as we needed it to. So many returns. Especially if you're going to spend that much money on one you want it to work. This one stands up to our household! 💪🏻 The mapping feature works really well. It was easy to setup. We have 8 dogs & 2 cats and the house easily gets really dirty fast. Especially going in and outside so much. It picks up all the dirt. I barefoot tested it many times after running it. It gets the dirt in the hard to reach places like corners. It holds a lot of dirt\debris. The reservoir also holds a lot before you have to empty it. Also you can set the vacuum to empty every time it gets done vacuuming or after a set amount of times. The suction is so good I've had it pick up spilled dog food and other equally heavy things. The price is amazing considering how well it works. Oh and it's quiet enough that my cat literally lays on the floor and makes it go around her. She wouldn't care if the thing bumped her! 😂 I will say that when it empties the vacuum into the reservoir, the suction is loud but otherwise it's very quiet. 🤫 You are able to set a schedule in the app as far as when you want it to clean what rooms and what times. It has a standard clean and a matrix clean where it goes over the floors twice with more suction. There is also a spot clean function where you can zero in on the area you want vacuumed for a spill. All around this little thing rocks and it's worth every penny! ... show more

  • So Far - So Good - But not so much after 5 months of use.
I have been using this since December of 2024. Did a lot of research online and found that process to be very confusing, and prices get way out of control real fast. Watch the model numbers - it is almost impossible to find out (even from You Tube) exactly what the vacs in each series do as well as which are the most up to date model. More on that later. I plan on updating this post after I've put some miles on it, but so far it is help me keep my yellow labs dog hair picked up off of dark wooden floors. One other note - don't expect it to be perfect. It can't get everything you can get to with a regular vacuum. Also, decide what is most important and stick to it! Some of the things I was looking for in this vac was overall good reviews, HEPA filter, bagless, and two brushes. I was not looking for the mop feature at all !!!!!! One other note - I wanted one with two edge brushes and returned the first one I bought because it didn't have that feature. When I saw that this one did list two brushes, I jumped at it because it had everything else I wanted. The two brushes meant that it came with a replacement brush. I did not return and wished I could have found a reasonably priced one with all of these features. Update - April 2025 I initially gave this vac a 5-star review and agreed with many others that it is a "game changer." After using the vac for a few months now - I'm not so sure. The vac cleans the best on the Matrix clean option, but that is only offered when you choose one room at a time. Since it is a longer process (but does a thorough job) the battery life for one room is terrible. I am always in the situation of the vac not finishing an area, taking 3 or more hours to recharge, and having to get out a stick vacuum to finish the job. Then if it finishes in the middle of the night, it will resume cleaning, and I have to send it back to the dock. Also, the edge brush seems to be wearing out quickly. I wanted this vacuum to help with yellow dog hair n dark wood floors, and while it does make a difference, I still have to get the sections it missed. I have remapped my house three times to maximize the best possible layout. So, I am changing my rating to 3 stars. ... show more

  • Premium Price, Severely Limited Functionality for International Buyers
Style: PowerDetect (30 Days)
I purchased this robot vacuum at a price significantly higher than many competitive models available on the market. For comparison, my parents bought a much more affordable robot from a less well-known brand around the same time. Their cheaper unit works perfectly and provides full control through an app that displays the robot’s exact location and cleaning route in real-time. In contrast, I am stuck with this far more expensive robot that I can only manually send to clean, with virtually no real control over mapping or area management. This massive lack of control stems entirely from the software required for the device: 1. The Shark Clean app itself is not feature-complete when compared to competitors. 2. Crucially, the app necessary for the full functionality (mapping, zone cleaning, tracking) is geo-restricted and unavailable for download in my country's android store. The result is that a robot sold at a premium price delivers the functionality of a basic, low-cost model. This geographical limitation makes key features of the product inaccessible, despite the robot being sold in my region. I have to watch my parents—who paid far less—enjoy the full, intended experience of robot ownership. For international customers, this robot is a poor investment, as the intended user experience is completely compromised by the unavailable control software. ... show more

  • Peace of mind
Style: PowerDetect (60 Days) (Grey)
I have an 1800sq ft ranch. It is great. It is fun to watch. I run mine on "max". Battery doesn't last long on that setting. Half the house it will need to recharge but it will legitimately sweep debris on this setting as well as dust and hair. On normal settings it may not reach that kitty litter. It is a time saver. Peace of mind is what it gives me. I staves off sweeping for a couple days. I like my house clean and we have two domestic cats, German Shedder and kids. It's a full time job, cleaning.. Suction is pretty good and it is loud on "max" setting, when it is working in the same room as you. When it is down the hallway or in another room it is just humming or not heard at all. - The filter has a fine screen before the air filter that collects dust and gets caked on it. It limits air flow if you run it multiple times without taking the filter out and smacking the screen, not the air filter, a few times to dislodge the fine grey dust. It is a solid product. it has some weight to it and it is intelligent. It doesn't ram things so its ok for wood and small end tables. Is it worth it? Subjective. It saves me time and give me peace of mind, I have to sweep every day or every other day without it. I'd buy it again. ---- Edit ---- The day I broke down the boxes and put them in the recycling. ( 7 days later after be flawless ) The sweeper malfunctioned. The right wheel wouldn't rotate. Not sure what happened. It runs in circles now and makes errors and asks to trouble shoot. nothing is obstructing the wheel that I can tell. The wheel's suspension doesn't always go up all the way as well. I can't see anything up there. I had to request a return. ... show more

  • May the force be with you
Style: PowerDetect (30 Days)
This thing does an excellent job at cleaning. Since Amazon yearns to know how the suction is, I can say with confidence “it sucks.” As in it does good in the suction department. Noise is what you’d expect for a robot vacuum, not great, not terrible. Audible but honestly, for my average dude ears, “it is what it is, just turn the TV up a bit.” Having had a few different robo-vacuums over the years, this is top notch, and worth the slightly higher price. I also bought this to keep my Shark air purifier company, and since that thing looks like R2D2 lingering in the corner of my house, I named it O2D2 and this vacuum is now Clean3PO. Together they do a great job of making my home clean, both in air quality and floor quality. ... show more

  • Shark Robot FTW
I have had more than my fair share of robot sweepers. I think 3 Sharks, a Samsung, and a Roomba. The Samsung was our first and by far the best sweeper. However it has only an internal collection bin which is very small and clogs easily. Thoroughly limits it's usefulness to certain light duty situations. The Sharks have all been relatively good and reliable but died in unfortunate situations. Typically pet mess they tried to pick up which did not end well in any regard. The Roomba got stuck under our couch no less than 100 times and additionally used bags which is annoying. In addition to bags, it has many consumable parts that seem to constantly need replaced. SO back to Shark on this last robot. We absolutely need a robot with 2 dogs and 2 cats leaving fur everywhere. This new Shark definitely appears upgraded beyond our previous ones. Number one, it did not try to go under the couch! Finally, I can't tell you how annoyed I was with the Roomba being under the couch daily. I stuffed blankets under there to deter it which was not well received by my fiancee. So that problem appears to be gone. It seems to have a better motor than previous iterations and picked up well. It also docked without any problems. Some of the others looked like people who dont use mirrors trying to parallel park. Up back up back up back, kinda got it, nope , up back. Anyway, so far I don't see any flaws in it. I hope it doesn't meet the fate of the others. All in all, I would fully recommend Shark although I have not tried the Dyson. The Dyson is A) pricey and B) no tower bin so it will likely be super annoying without an empty and continue option. Maybe one day Dyson will be in the equation but it will certainly need a tower bin for that to happen. ... show more

  • Great Robot Vacuum—But Only Worth It on Sale
The Shark Detect Pro RV2820AE is their most advanced vacuum ONLY model. This model has 3D sensors, never stuck technology, and dirt detect sensors that the more expensive PowerDetect model has, which is vacuum AND mop. You have to buy any robot vacuum with realistic expectations. I have another Shark robot which is an entry level model, so I can see the difference that the 3D sensors and never stuck have. But even with the 3D sensors, it will occasionally bump into furniture and small things. The Shark app is laggy, but very easy to use. It’s never crashed on me, which is a problem I have with Roborock. The app doesn’t show you where the vacuum is, that feature is ONLY in the PowerDetect model. However, you have the option to pick which rooms to clean, matrix clean where it cleans the room twice, and spot clean. If you have pets and/or a lot of hair in the house, then I highly suggest purchasing the triple side brush. 2 pack for $15 on the Shark website. The single side brush gets the job done, but the triple side brush is a lot better for hair. You have to make sure that the sensors are clean so I always use a microfiber towel to quickly clean them after each use. I HIGHlY suggest using a can air duster. Robot vacuums have many smalls parts that are hard to reach and collect A LOT of dust. Once a week, the can air duster removes all of the debris and makes sure there’s no hidden dust. You also have to clean the brush roll as it collects hair. Sharks customer support is very good. They’re based in the Dominican Republic, but the support agents speak good English and use Zoom video call to help you troubleshoot any problems. Lastly, I bought this model on sale for $300. Would I pay the full retail price of $500? NO, I wouldn’t and in fact, NOT for any robot vacuum. Always check for sales and then buy. Whether it’s Shark, Roborock, or any other company, ALL of them are overpriced at retail. I hope my review helps :) ... show more

  • Perfect Robot Vac for Daily Use
Style: PowerDetect (30 Days)
Literally the BEST robot vac on the planet. I have always been a SHARK fan and own many SHARK products. Now, this robot it a massive step up over my previous Shark robot, which I still use in my basement and still works flawlessly. Highly recommend this model.
