So the Self Cleaning Litter Box, Integrated Safety Automatic Cat Litter Box Self Cleaning 65L+9L for Mul.... has become my preferred style of litter robot. I do have the whisker litter robots and I've found those to have several unresolved issues which are inexcusable considering the expense (the weight of the unit, the size of the unit, the anti-pinch plates being exposed to cat waste, the liners not staying attached to the globe correctly, constant bonnet disconnect issues, and so much more) so I am slowly looking to cycle the Whisker bots to the dump over time and replace them with smaller, easier to maintain units. And that's where this one shines. It is easy to maintain. Unlike the expensive Whisker bots, all the important hardware in these little robots are completely separate from the waste receptacle. Being that the waste drawer is on the top, I can walk back, pop them open to check on the levels, pop it back on and walk away (instead of stooping like I'm about to scoop a litter box to check the other). The bags are easy to attach (just make certain to slip the drawstring edge of the bag UNDER the tabs and pull up so it catches on the backside of the mouth of the receptacle or you will have a drawer full of waste when you check it later). It works great during brownout conditions (whereas Whiskers will shut off randomly during brownouts) because it uses so little energy, and you can set the clumping interval to whatever you prefer to minimize cleaning (23minutes is ideal for my furbabies). The only drawback is that you really need a scoop or a cup to chunk fresh kitty litter into it. That said, this one does come with a measuring cup (with instructions to add 8-9 cups of litter to the robot and maintain levels at that point). The unit uses very little litter and is plenty of room to accommodate a 20 lb long cat (as I have another with an identical sized barrel, and he uses that one with ease). The attachment to the front of the barrel is attached to the bottom hardware, so it is in my opinion better than others that attach to the cylinder itself as it catches any slow to fall clumps that drops down and redirects them into the cylinder instead of onto the floor. The buttons on the front is easy to use and the app is even easier. I absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for an easy to maintain litter robot and is quiet and a small footprint.

The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best automatic cat litter box that I have ordered. It is very user-friendly comes fully assembled with the exception of the optional urine blocker. It comes with three rolls of garbage bags for the litter box. Probably one of the greatest parts of this, self cleaning litter box is its ability to utilize litter pretty much that you choose. I personally used clay litter and filled to the max line. You can use it with or without the app that you can install on your phone. It also has the great feature of the odor cleaning which you can set on different settings. It automatically sets itself to remove odor every time the litter box is used or you can choose to not use this feature. It does have a child lock setting if you have small children that think that this is a toy I don’t have small children so I chose not to use this feature. You can wash the bin in the barrel. It comes off easily unfortunately you can’t wash the machine part itself however you can remove the silicone and clean that and put it back. It has a sleep mode or timing mode so you can change the options if you so choose , also has the ability to weigh your cats, which is a nice feature for my cats personally because they are chubby. The trash bags that are included are nice and thick. There’s also an optional strap you can buckle around it if you are unsure about the waste leaking out. All in all this is a wonderful self cleaning cat litter box. I highly recommend and it is very nice to not have to scoop the poop and the instructions were very clear. There’s even a step-by-step video that you can use my scanning the QR code that comes in the user manual . As I’ve said it’s nice and quiet is also a bonus definitely worth the price. I think it’s very reasonably priced and it’s a nice litter box for you and your cats.
