Let's talk... it is generally a good device. What isn't being said is the App used with it is subscription based if you want notifications. Not cool. I would not have bought it if that were the case. So I to manually press the button several times a day. Not a deal breaker just inconvenient, but also won't let you set up the weights of your cats and take any use information like how many times a day its been used and by which cat unless you have paid. Also the wifi sucks. It drops constantly and its not that far from the router. I have to have it on an extension cord, move the device into the hallway for it to connect and then move it back. Not the best choice for our pet family. ***Edit: I was too nice on my previous post. For my sanity I am returning the device. I cant continue getting woken up at 3, 4am due the drum having stopped while in cleaning mode, so none of my cats can use it, and I now have to clean up several messes. Really nice litter box. Definitely has a learning curve for my cats to get used to it, but 1 of these has replaced 3 standard litter boxes. I plan on getting a second one soon. Lost a star because it gets stuck on the cleaning cycle with the bag only half full sometimes and the inner fabric liner gets gross after only a few months-would be better if it was plastic instead ... show more

    • Effective Design, but Odor Escapes.
The litter box itself is excellent and significantly reduces daily maintenance, as I no longer need to empty it every day. However, one drawback is odor control—the smell tends to escape, which can be unpleasant and requires me to empty the waste bin every other day.
