Worked well for awhile. Then we started to have the issue of urine under the globe. Now the motor seems to be going out and it won't spin... hasn't even been a year.... wondering about that 12 month garuntee.....

I've had this litter box for two years and I've gotta say there are definitely pros and cons. I'm relatively happy with it but if you're considering buying it now I would say definitely pass. When I bought it it was HALF the price (~$200) and it's just barely worth that. The company has a lot of design issues to resolve. For instance, the gear that turns the globe is basically exposed at the very front of the machine. This is how the pee ends up underneath it, as you'll see in other customers' reviews. Another issue this caused is that the pee ended up getting on the wiring for the indicator light so that hasn't worked in a year. The pull-out step is in general a terrible design, since it's hollow, and tends to end up coming loose on its own, which ends up collecting pee. So it's basically a pee drawer. Maybe your cats won't pee at the front of the machine like mine do but it's not worth the risk. I haven't had as big of a problem with the chute getting blocked - it only happens every couple months for me. All that being said, it's pretty easy to take apart and clean and it's made my life a lot easier not having to scoop litter every day. I would not buy this model again but I feel satisfied that I've gotten my money's worth out of it. Though like I said it's not worth it at the current price point. Oh also size wise it was alright (barely) for two cats but now that I have 3 in the house I have two more (traditional) boxes around so I'm back to scooping anyway.

This is way better and lighter than the previous cat robot litter box I had. But it gets stuck a lot. If the door that dumps the waist out in the back of the unit has any type of debris in it because it’s not properly releasing it or dropping it into the trash bag then it goes off-line and it won’t empty regularly. So I find myself having to open the back a lot and empty it out even though it’s not full a little frustrating The app is a separate type of app that you actually download to use. It doesn’t really give directions on any app that it’s supposed to come with or that you’re supposed to use other than what I had already used for my previous little robot and I use my dog feeder for the same app so there aren’t very many options in the app to like use your phone to clean it and the previous litter robot. I had I was able to schedule cleanings every say hour or what have you just to prevent my dog from getting in it so a lot of deficiencies that could be better with it but I’m appreciating that I can use it other than that it can be a hassle sometimes because it can go off-line a lot.

I gave over $200 and now its not working at all. I have had nothing but problems with this product and I have asked for a new one or money back and it was refused.

The product is ok. The app that sync sucks because it’s suppose to give you updates on your cat and if the waste bin is full or needs more litter but it doesn’t. You have to keep looking in the app to check. Also the litter does fall out in the front sometimes when it cleans. I will probably be return this and getting a different one. I tried to contact the seller about trouble shooting it but no response.

This litter box is pretty easy to set up, although you will need 2.4 WiFi. I have both, I was able to get it all set up and connected to the app on 2.4 but I can still use the app and get notifications after switching back to 5. Also, I couldn't get get tuya app to connect but the Smart life app worked. My cat has been fine using it, although he doesn't understand why it turns on and spins every time he goes. He always has to come back and stick his head in it to watch. It did fill up in just under two weeks, for one cat. My only complaint is that the cord is fairly short (see my second picture, the cord is covered by the bat rug so I don't trip on it).
