I was worried about this being of a thin gauge metal and not being very sturdy. When I took it out of the box I knew that my worries were for nothing. It is made out of a good gauge, I would say its similar to a medium grade kitchen sink which I think is around 18 gauge. This is probably the nicest and best cat litter box I have owned, and I have owned quite a few. I have used the basic plastic tub, the igloo shaped one, the flip it over and back one, to a top entry, covered, high walled, auto clean, and more. You name it I bet I tried it. I had never tried a stainless steel box until now and I dont know why i waited so long to This cat litter box is fantastic, it comes well packaged and has a nice thick plastic open top lid that securely sits on the top of the box. It has a litter control ramp that you can use that sits out in front of it and even comes with a litter scoop. Everything was thought out about this box, the scoop has a built in storage spot, and even at the entrance of the box there is a few cut out spots for trying to contain the litter that our little friends love to get everywhere. I love this stainless steel for it wont hold an odors and while yes it does get scratched up they are of just the surface like a lot of the stainless appliances. My cat has no issues using this and I kept her old one next to this one for the transition and it didn't take her long to prefer this one. The litter does not stick very easily to the box and it cleans up very easy. The included scooper is even better than the cheap ones you can buy, it has decent slits to allow the good litter to fall through while keeping the bad. After my experience with this box I will be getting another one as I like having multiple boxes for my cat, kinda like us who when we can have more than one bathroom in our homes.

I was so shocked to see just how many details this litter box came with. Even with all of these details, it was quick and easy to assemble and I didn't even need to look at the manual to do so. However, I do give the company "props" for including a manual in the kit since many companies no longer provide tangible manuals but rather a website to go to in order to look the manual up and others don't have any manual options at all! The actual box is made of stainless steel which is a big plus because it's the cleanest you'll ever get when it comes to fighting excess bacteria and other micro-organisms from breeding. This box is quite large in length, width and height but even if you have a cat with short legs or a kitten, no worries because it comes with a step for their feet to get in and out of the box with easy which also has holes and grate to catch the excess litter off their paws so that it doesn't end up on the floor. Another factor which keeps the litter from ending up on the floor is the clip on sides and back. If your cat doesn't like the extra sidings, you can easily take them off and use the litter box without it but it is a great way to help keep the litter in the box. My cat loves to dig in the litter a lot and he throws it outside of the box so these extra high sidings really help prevent that. Lastly, it comes with a large scooper with it's own holder so that you don't have to put a dirty scooper on the floor. It works well when scooping. The only thing I'd change about the scooper and scooper holder is the material because it's made of plastic. I'd prefer stainless steel which scoops the bottom of the box better and it's cleaner than plastic. Overall, I love this litter box set. It's a great price and well designed. If you are going to get a manual scoop box, this is one I'd recommend.

This litterbox was designed very thoughtfully to help with messy cats. The guards on top keep the cat from kicking litter everywhere and I really like the grate they step on to get out. It captures most of the litter sprinkles with my 20 pound mainecoon. Also, my big boy comfortably fits in the box! (Which i was concerned about because a lot of products say they are for big cats but they are still too small) I also like how the corners of the box are smooth so your scoop can get under stuff (the scoop also has a designated nook it goes in which is awesome) Overall I think its worth the price as it looks nice, cleans up easily, and makes scooping poop a little bit more easy. (Because let's be honest, no one wants to spend any longer than they have to scooping poops lol). I love it. This is a lot better than what I had before. I threw the entire old box in the trash when I realized how much better this one was. 😆 Also, once it's full of litter, you can't hear the stainless steel clanking or anything, I thought it would be loud but it's actually very quiet. (: the only thing one might not like is the size of the holes in the scoop, they are a bit large. This is not a problem for me though because big cats leave big 💩. Can't really go wrong with a stainless steel box.

From the tip shield to prevent flying pellets, to the built in tracker preventer on the front, this litter boxes is exceptional! Great size, super easy to clean, and very durable. Minimal noise level (I use Okocat less mess).

I recently got a new cat litter box for my large cat Nitty, here and though it was awesome. It was nothing but a pan with a shield you could put it in that surrounded it. The privacy shield somehow became drenched in cat urine - which was gross and totally defeated the purpose of any odor control. The size of the pan is nice and large, just like before, but the upper attachment part that came with protects the urine from being sprayed outside the box perfectly. Nothing is leaking or getting drenched and it works perfectly for me and Nitty!
