I am taking one star because I can’t connect it to my WiFi since I have 5G. It only works with 2.5 G. Other than that, it’s great. My cats took it immediately. Easy to clean and change bags. Easy to pour the litter. The light stays on. No smells. Great for the price.

So far so good, even kind of inadvertently tells you when the drawer is too full because it'll stop operating properly. Haven't had too many problems with the litter sticking to the bottom. The lit drum is really nice to be able to see what's going on inside. And it lets you choose six different colors and varying brightnesses if you want to change that. Stops instantly if any cat tries to stick their head in there while it's running. Overall, I wish they'd had these and I bought the other ones that I have. Because I think engineering wise these are a better all around setup than the rolling type that I had before. The ones that have the bags inside the drum instead of a drawer underneath.

There's a PVC liner set inside the drum which the litter is placed. After about 3 weeks, we began to notice a distinct urine smell coming from the unit. It turns out that this liner is porous & the cat's urine gets embedded. We removed it from the drum & washed it several times, but there's still a sight oder. I've asked the seller for his recommendations to remedy this. We probably need to replace it.

These dont tear and hold waste and smell well. Great amount for the price. Thick and dont feel like cheap bags. They are strong and make cleaning the boxes easy!

So, the opening seems a little high🫤 I think that may play a little role in the fact that after a week neither of my cats has interest in using it. My male peed ON the front of it/on the floor 😒. I foresee a big issue with pee inside hitting the front wall and immediately running down underneath the litter mat😞 It seems like it would have been very simple to design the litter ‘mat’ that comes UP substantially higher in the front where cats are known to pee (as I gather from reading tons of review’s & about some companies altering their designs by adding a taller front guard on the opening- which this one has)…alas, this definitely doesn’t solve the issue of pee running UNDER the barrel and into the base🤢. *I cannot attest to this happening on this unit since my cats won’t use the inside of it lol- but when he peed on the front it ran right down in between the barrel/housing & into the litter tray😑 The litter area is quite small compared to a traditional litter box. My cats use a large lidded box with a ‘comparable’ size entry though this is probably smaller. I’m hopeful (two-hundred dollars worth) that my cats will brave up & give it a try… HOWEVER my male has recently started this ‘facing inward & peeing on the front at the hole…so I think with this litter mat design being so LOW and easily penetrated by liquid (has seams/ridges, not really a ‘sealed’/liquid barrier design), it’s going to be a REAL issue 😞 I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT letting your cat see the thing operate (it does this when FIRST PLUGGED IN) - put litter in it & turn it OFF- THEN let them go to it on their own. Try putting it next to the current box so they realize what it is a little easier. My cats heard/SAW this thing start up immediately & got freaked out- now won’t trust it. They know what it’s for & are curious…lol but just won’t dare enter. ALSO- 1. I cannot get it to connect to my wifi!? It’s easily recognized (by both iPhone apps) and attempts to connect but never finishes😞 2. The cheap bearing came with damage…but NOT ON the barrel hub where I had to figure out that it actually goes🤨… this is kind of an important assembly step that was missed in order for proper function(rotating). That design is also…‘meh’ Immediately after loading this review 🙄 I heard the litterbox functioning 😋 somebody had got in it… SLOWLY they started using it… but my male is still PEEING on the floor IN FRONT of it…but not every time, so it’s odd. I also noticed after a few days of using this unit…somebody was still (also?) using the old litterbox as well. I don’t know lol we’re still up in the air about it. I did have a concern about it wasting too much clean litter as all the videos I would watch (on tons of these units) seem to let a lot of clean litter escape into the trash bag as well. I have not noticed that at all with this litterbox, so I’m very happy about that! I use Target’s cheap clumping brand. Even my super skittish mini muffin (she has a very long body & short stature) is getting in it😌 so that’s great. *I HAVE IT SET TO WAIT 15min till after they exit, so nothing spooks them*

Love this machine! I don't have to clean the litter box but every now and again not every day! It's quiet and my cat loves how it's "enclosed". I can also pull up the app and see how often he's used it and his weight! Easy to assemble too!
