  • an exceptional bike, gives a high performance workout
It took me almost four hours to assemble the bike. Most of the bike is preassembled, which makes for heavy sections, the bike feels like it's made of solid iron bike. Manipulating parts while aligning bolts and washers and nuts, let's just say that putting the bike together is a two-person job. The parts and hardware are neatly packaged so even someone like me with limited mechanical skills can find everything. The instructions are clear. It was fulfilling working with what was no more to me than a heap of metal parts offering no visual clue of the finished product and seeing the bike come together, finally assembled. I did that, what a feeling of accomplishment. Fatigued, I should've gone to bed and waited until morning before putting the metal beast through its paces. Nothing worked like it should have, I'll spare you the details. This morning I approached the bike after a walk. As clear as assembly instructions are, there's nothing showing how to use the thing. Maybe the packers forgot to include that instruction manual in the box i received. Anyway, much of what you need to know is on the Amazon product page. What makes this sturdy piece of equipment pleasurable to use is the larger than usual very comfortable seat. As a bike you can operate from a low riding reclining position or an upright position. In the upright position, you can pull on the handlebars, the front of bike will slide forward, the tension depending on your strength, for a great upper body and shoulder workout. When I stopped overthinking, I figure out what the product description meant by a squat assist. Simple. Straddle the bike, while standing grip the handlebars and squat to the seat or, for a more intense thigh workout, stop your squats just above the seat, your balance will be maintained by holding the handlebars. I almost forgot. A tip for putting the straps on the foot pedals. Push and snap them in place instead of wriggling the end points. Enjoy your workout. ... show more

  • Seanleecore Indoor Recumbent Exercise Bike and Squat Assist
I'm doing that whole new year, new me thing, so bare with me. This little beauty fills several roles in my new home gym and I'm super happy I decided to pick it up and add it to my new home gym setup. It works my legs as well as my abs, glutes, and arms. It's an overall workout that hits several of my key points and provides me an alternative to a treadmill for cardio stimulation. It works awesome and I don't think it's going to fall apart anytime soon, at least not at the level of use it's going to get from me. It was a challenge to assemble. But I am also a tiny female who doesn't have much upper body strength... yet. That's what I need this machine for, right?! It took me more hours than I'd care to admit to get this together, and I put parts together wrong several times and had to take it back apart. Not for lack of clear instructions... I'm just not great at this kind of thing. But it would definitely benefit from being a two man job for sure. Set aside some time to work on it when it arrives. Maybe put on a movie. It's going to take at least that long to get it together. But it'll be worth it, I promise! ... show more

  • awesome workout machine for home!
If you're first looking at the assembly guide, it looks pretty daunting especially at the exploded diagram. The screws are organized and labeled neatly and I can see they attempted to simplify it as best they can. But let's be real, this bike is a pain in the rear to assemble. I sort of think the assembly is far more than what an average person would want. To sum up the entire experience with the bike machine - I do think it's worth it. And once you get into the groove of putting it together, it's not so bad. The machine is quite similar to the gym bikes only the seat adjustment isn't easy like the gym bikes (which are similar to car seat adjustment handles) To move the seat forward or back (depending on your height), you make the adjustment at the bottom of the seat through a lock knob, so it's manual). So it is not flexible and you'll want to make sure you get the correct distance because it's a hassle to adjust the seat distance. I do think the base could be longer lengthwise because if you're moving left and right (for whatever reason you're doing that while seated like me who can't sometimes sit still), it could potentially tip over if you're leaning far towards either direction. Other than that, I think it's an awesome machine for working out. It also has the tension resistance knob in the center if you want a more intense workout. The seat is very comfortable and it's so easy to work out on, sit, pedal and watch your netflix shows! ... show more

  • great exercise bike
The media could not be loaded. The instructions included with this to put it together were well written (including both text and images). I really liked that the hardware (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) were separated with the pieces you needed for each step (for steps 1-6). It took me just under 1 hour and 30 minutes to put it together by myself. The only step that wasn't very clear was attaching the straps to the pedals (step 7). NOTE: The strap has 3 holes on one end and 4 holes on the other end (can use any one of the holes on each side to make tighter or looser). The 3 hole side goes to the inside, and the 4 holes goes on the outside. You can see which strap goes on left or right petal by how the strap then lines up on the outside of petal. Used in the standard position it is a good workout for your legs and the tension can be adjusted from 1-8. For me I usually use tension between 4-8. If you pull the front handle bar towards you, you will get a workout for your legs and upper body arms, as you have to hold the position with your arms to stay at the higher potions. If you have very long legs your knees/upper leg may hit the front handle bar in the raised position, as my knees/upper leg did come pretty close to the front handle bar in the upright position. I'm 5 ft 10 in for reference. There are two small wheels on the front of exercise bike to move it. I was able to move it on my carpet ok, but moving on a hardwood floor would be very easy. The bike is quite when using. See my attached video to give a quick view on usage of different positions. ... show more
