I tried it on a #6 screw holding the deadbolt in the front door. The burnisher (drill end) hardly even scratched the surface of it. I got a drill bit I knew would drill into the screw and then used the remover end to extract the screw. Mission accomplished in a round about way.

I bought this to remove one screw that is one of 3 screws on a 2007 Honda CRV door lock. The screws are incredibly hard to remove. I tried both a manual impact driver and a drill-based (De Walt) impact driver as well as multiple other techniques and none worked on this one screw. This was my last effort before taking to a mechanic. Directions said to use the smallest bit (on a P3 screw) but the bit would not drilll into the screw even with full body weight,. I had to use a hardened bit, one of which broke, and ended up being successful using the third largest bit. Finally the screw broke loose. Not easy and tool, even though it worked, was disappointing due to it's lack of ability to drill into the screw I was trying to remove. ... show more
