I have had really bad experience with easy outs, but this set really saved the day. Damaged head on rusted in bolts. The grab sockets really work. Didn't use the drill and easy out so can't comment on then but the set seems to be real nice quality. Worked wonders for me.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this works exactly like it should! I had a 1/2" bolt head that was completely stripped on a 1990 F150 starter. The 1/2" bit tool was able to remove it and re-tighten it.

I used this to remove three stuck broken studs from a pair of cylinder heads. Every stud had broke with maybe a half inch left sticking out. I managed to get a pipe wrench on one and started to turn it but realized it was just going to break off the small piece that was left sticking out. I Remembered I had this set and decided to try it. Used the same extractor on all three and managed to slowly bump them back and forth to start then all of them finally came out. The extractor I used still looks new. The rocket scientist at the dealership where I had my oil change, apparently used an impact wrench on the oil drain plug. After mutilating, yet with sockets, channel locks, and vice grips is still would not budge. After reading some of the reviews on this product, I decided to order it and give it a shot. After slightly driving the appropriate socket onto the nut head and with a breaker bar and a whole lot of pressure I was able to break the plug loose. Beat it on with a hammer and used a good impact to remove a very stuck bolt that I had stripped out. I also purchased a 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter to make it work with the impact.
