Looking at it, I wasn't impressed. It's basically a drill chuck with teeth. I had a stuck exhaust stud on a mazde that was really being a pain.. I figured I'd give it a try for twenty bucks. The instructions claim you can use an impact on it and I did. Much to my surprise it worked flawlessly and it survived! Even if only works a few times It's worth twenty dollars to get a couple studs out in a pinch rather then having to resort to more severe measures. As a mechanic for over thirty years I highly recommend this for your home use or occasional use. I'm not sure if it would survive daily use, only time will tell.

Used on a stuck pinch bolt. It quickly sheared off the bolt. It may work really well for a fully threaded bolt but it did not work for what I bought it for.

I used it right after getting it to remove studs from an exhaust manifold. Tried heat, more heat, and 2 locking pliers and couldn't remove a single one. This device, which I learned about in an unrelated YouTube video, was recommended as a solid option. Though they say it can very well break in a lot of cases, it works more than enough to make up for the fact some will probably break eventually. The time and money it saves is more than worth that chance it breaks. If it does, I'll just buy another. It works great. Makes it look easy. Used it on a 1/2 in impact. Didn't struggle at all.

Worked in under 5 min. Well worth the cost vs. drilling and an easy out. I was a little concerned because of how little I had sticking out to work with, but, put it on, hit it with the heat and the impact and it came right out.
