The box, packaging and overall quality makes this a good gift option. It comes with a soft bag to store it in when not in use. Though the material is a good material, a duvet cover should be used with it. It's comfortable. Note that it does include the shaft of the feathers vs only feathers.

I got this for my son's new bed and he loves it! It did come vacuum sealed and I was a little nervous at first but it fluffed up a bunch as soon as I got the plastic opened. It took a couple if days to fluff all the way out. There are the occasional feathers that poke out but in my experience, that's common with down comforters. It seems pretty lightweight when your covered in it but it keeps the heat in and keeps you nice and warm. The stitching was nicely done and there were no loose seams. I would highly recommend a duvet cover for this though. As with any white fabric, any dirt or dust will be very noticeable (we learned this the hard way). We just love this duvet insert comforter!

This KAKABELL Goose Down Feather Comforter Queen Size Quilted Black Duvet Insert Noiseless Ultra Soft and Cozy Comforter Baffle Box Design Bed Insert with Corner Tabs-90"x90" is only 25% down, which isn't much. Luckily, you don't really feel the feathers. I have had duvets where you can feel the pointy parts of the feathers poking you, but that is not the case here. The filling feels soft. I like the box design, which keeps the filling in place. This duvet comes vacuum-sealed, and it did take several days to fluff up. It fits our covers well and has loops for the cover to be tied not only on the corners but also on 2 sides to make sure this duvet stays put in its cover. There is no smell, and all the stitching looks nice. Sleeping with this duvet was warm, comfortable, and cozy. This is a nice addition to our duvet sets.

I need a new comforter for my bed and this was the perfect solution. It looks great and is very well made. Stitching is well done and looks like a much more expensive product. It is very soft and the perfect weight. My bed is mostly black so this is the perfect compliment. This is a great value.

The listing says "cotton" in some places but if you read closely in one section says poly-cotton blend. It's annoyingly misleading if you're searching for 100% cotton, to have to read all the fine print. And living in an area that doesn't get too cold in winter, I'm fine that it's only 25% down but you may want to note that if you're needing a thicker fill. Otherwise it's nice and a good weight, and I like the black because it's different and sorta goes with my navy duvet cover.

This beautiful white down comforter is almost twice as heavy compared to other comforters that sell for almost twice the price. It looks great on your bed is just as is. Similar to what you will see in a "boutique" hotel, but if you want to keep it in that pristine white condition you should be getting a Duvet cover to keep it in when you are using it. A duvet is like a giant pillowcase that this comforter will fit. It's easier to clean a duvet than trying to clean a down comforter. They say this comforter is machine washable, but washing a duvet cover is just like washing your sheets. If you buy the right duvet, there are small straps on the edges of the comparator that will keep this down comforter in place inside the duvet so making the bed is not a challenge. In fact, I was watching a YouTuber from Germany and she was saying that in Germany they don't use top sheets. It's common for most people to buy a quality comforter along with a duvet cover and sleep under that. Either way, this has a comfortable weight when you sleep under it, and if you want to store it away, they include a nice-sized drawstring bag you can store it in over the warmer months.
