Spreading like custard, clinging to the applicator brush (found on Amazon) for exact application. I have been struggling this past year with finding a home hair dye that does not give me brass. I had it really bad due to other brands. so I got this and this worked better than all the other brands I tried. I will stick to this for a while in hopes that it will continue to work out all the brass.
