Luckily, I grabbed this when it finally went on sale. I used it several times throughout the hunting seasons and this handheld is amazing! I saw animals through the woods that I never would have seen with the naked eye. The video recording is an excellent option as well. Excellent customer service from Essence Outdoors LLC. These guys are top notch. The Pocket k3 is perfect for scanning terrain and conveniently fits in my shirt pocket. Light weight and last quite a while on a single charge. 384 resolution so not as much detail but this is a handheld meant to scan and find (in my case hogs and coyotes) and then put the scope to identify and neutralize. ... show more

Great handheld for the money, battery life has been good. Still full after a couple hunts in sub 20° temps. Resolution is on par with other 384 sensors. The phone connectivity is pretty badass too.

Arrived on-time and well packaged. As far as the K3... I'm impressed. I have a $5,000+ thermal rifle scope with far higher resolution yet the Rix K3 looks dang near as good. The media could not be loaded. Lemme tell you. This lil thing is handy! I use it mostly as a sheriffs deputy to locate suspects that run off and try to hide on night shift. Lens for eye sight too small, makes it an eye sore. Quality was subpar. Expensive for the model. go with the cheaper option. overall its not worth it. No tracking.
