This carburetor was a perfect replacement for my Briggs & Stratton engine. My mower was running rough and stalling, but after installing this, it starts on the first pull and runs smoothly. The quality feels solid, and it comes with the necessary gaskets, making the installation straightforward. Installation Steps: 1. Turn Off the Fuel Supply: If your mower has a fuel shut-off valve, turn it off. Otherwise, clamp the fuel line to prevent leaks. 2. Remove the Air Filter Housing: Unscrew and take off the air filter cover and filter. Disconnect any linkages or breather tubes attached. 3. Disconnect the Fuel Line: Have a rag ready to catch any fuel drips when removing the fuel line from the old carburetor. 4. Unscrew and Remove the Old Carburetor: Using the appropriate socket or wrench, remove the bolts holding the carburetor in place and carefully detach it from the engine. 5. Install the New Carburetor: Align the new carb with the intake manifold, ensuring the gasket is properly seated. Secure it with the bolts. 6. Reconnect the Fuel Line & Linkages: Attach the fuel line, governor linkages, and any other connections you removed earlier. 7. Reattach the Air Filter Housing: Secure it back in place and double-check all connections. 8. Test the Engine: Turn the fuel supply back on and start the engine. Adjust the idle screw if necessary for smooth operation. Overall, this was an excellent purchase. My mower runs like new again, and the installation took less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

After spending time trying to fix my rough running/starting issues on my mower (new plug, filter, carb cleaning, springs), I finally decided to just try a new carburetor. This one was a perfect fit on my B&S engine and installed easily. Not having high hopes of fixing the problem, I held my breath and pulled the cord. Engine started on the first pull and has been running great since the replacement. Should have done this in the first place for the low cost.

I was not sure it would fit my no name Briggs and Stratton 6.75 HP mower. After watching a you tube video on how to rebuild the carburetor. I thought I would look for the rebuild kit and found this carburetor. This carb is cheaper than the carb cleaning fluid. I could tell from the ad it was close to the right carb so I took a chance and bought it. I received it the next day the carb was not damaged even tho the box was. Thanks USPS! It fit perfect! It took me about 10 minutes to install and the mower started on the second pull!!! Awesome very happy with this product.
