Well I installed it today(was a loose fit on my JD) Started cutting and ran over some very light debris while mowing, and immediately smoked the belt.... Soft junk.

Hard to find a good replacement belt. My lawn was a bit higher than normal due to rains and my last belt broke. Received this one and proceeded to mow on a medium height. Made it about 3/4 of the way through and snap. Amazon is sending another one. We will see if it last longer.

Read the reviews before buying! Bought and thought oh good price! Belt came and husband installed. Belt broke within an hour of installing and mowing a small patch of the yard. Do not recommend. Save your Pennies and put them towards one with a little more quality.

Belt appears fine enough. Not really the flaw of the manufacturer. My Older, Unaltered, John Deere D130's Tag on mower calls for a GX20072, specs 1/2" x 104". In reality for my older D130, a 1/2" x 101" is the likely replacement. Beware of this possibility. The GX20072 is way TOO BIG and falls off the pulleys when disengaged. The belt I took off which I felt was too big/long is 102" long. ... show more

Keeps slipping off the pulleys and it looks the cover of the belt is coming off. Only had it a couple of weeks
