I use this jar for over-night oats and it is great! My only issue is that because it is so big, it is a little hard for me to get the lid off, so I cant screw it on tightly or else it gets stuck. That problem is specific to people with small hands though!

I got these because they were recommended when looking into water glassing some of our fresh eggs. When they came in, the first thing I noticed is that these jars are really sturdy, and seem well made. The lids also have a built in silicone seal that works well without needing anything additional. I just wish they came in other sizes so we could try them for other types of canning. When water glassing, I was able to fit over a dozen eggs (13-15) in each jar. I’ve also used them for making homemade pickled eggs so far. These would also work well for dry storage of just about anything else in the kitchen (tea, rice, beans, etc) where you’d want a good, airtight seal.
