Ordered for a JD LA135 whose seat had cracked on the front corner. Received the cover tightly packed in a zipper pouch. It fit the seat well, slightly loose but not an issue. If it was too tight of fit I would worry about seams. It has the same storage pockets in the back as a John Deere cover I had purchased a few years back for my 1023E. The yellow material is a slightly deeper yellow than the standard JD yellow but not bad. Can't judge durability yet but don't see any reason why it shouldn't last many seasons. Huge difference in price as I paid approx. $16 while the JD one as $49. Only real differences I see is the lack of a JD logo on the back, the deeper yellow and a small cord on the rear pocket zipper pull. Unless this totally falls apart (which I don't expect) after a few times this is a great value.

I own an 18 year old Ariens ZT-1540 MiniZoom mower. It's a great mower, built like a tank and easy to repair with off the shelf parts. Given the price of a new mower I figure it's worth it to put a couple of hundred dollars a year back into it for parts and maintenance. But some things are harder to maintain than others and the seat is a good example. Despite keeping it covered as much as possible the seat really shows its age. This seat cover was not advertised as fitting my mower, and in the strictest sense it doesn't. But...the over all dimensions matched! The problem was the arms. This cover was not made to fit over or around the arms. So I removed them and used a hot knife to make two small vertical slits in the seat cover which now fit perfectly, reattached the arms and Presto! My seat looks like new, is comfortable to sit on, AND has handy pockets built in the back for gloves, tools, etc, and a drink holder. For $21! What a deal!

It fits my 42" Craftsman Riding Mower perfectly! It's made of great material, has nice storage pockets, and comes with a storage bag if you decide to take it off the seat. I would buy this again, but the material feels solid, so I don't see why I would need to! . The seams are nice and tight. I love the silver color, as it reflects the sun's heat.

A very nice seat cover to put over the old tractor seat that was starting to crack from being out in the harsh weather. Protects the seat and your lets from getting scratched. Perfect for my needs. I like that you can remove it to wash it as needed. Snug fit.

I added photos to show what I did to close up the tears and gaps in the seat before I put the cover on. The seat was in pretty bad shape with the left side split almost all the way through the foam, there was also an issue with the vinyl where torn, it was curled up and had hardened which made for sharp edges. I cut away the curled up sharp vinyl, used spray foam insulation to fill/overfill the gaps and used a razor blade to re-sculpt the seat to close to original shape. I then applied a polyvinyl tape to close up the repairs and smooth them out. The duct tape was put on until the foam dried overnight and then removed, this held the seat shape until the foam cured. With this all complete, the seat cover fits like a glove and has a nice buckle strap on the back to keep it tight and in place. There is also some very heavy elastic cord around the entire seat to keep it tight fitting all around. It fits the seat very well and has nice drink holders and two zippered pouches (all on the back). The yellow part of the cover is a thin soft foam type material and has a drain hole in the center to align with your seat if it has the drain hole. Mine did not but it doesn't show so no loss. All in all, a very good product for the money, less than $20.00 in total cost including the cover.

I have mixed feelings about this seat cover. I needed a cover for my seat since I recently noticed couple small holes/tears so I need to protect it from further damage. I wanted one that not only had open pouches for things like water bottles and tools but I also wanted a couple zipper compartments for things like my Bluetooth noise canceling earbuds. So, after a bunch of shopping I decided to purchase this one since it hit all the checkboxes. When I received it I was REALLY disappointed in the packaging. They have these wrapped up so tightly with plastic wrap that it looks like a giant black pill. Once I unwrapped it and took it out of the zipper bag it was wrinkle city. Those wrinkles are never coming out no matter how long that cover is on my mower. Then, I tried to unzip the two zippers on it. The longer zipper opened just fine but the upper shorter zipper wouldn’t budge (like at least one other reviewer mentioned). I pulled and pulled and all I was doing was hurting my fingers. The zipper pull tab is plastic so I knew if I kept yanking on it either the tab or the zipper itself would break so I gave up. I had to send it back for a replacement. The new one didn’t take long to arrive. The zippers both worked this time but once again it was a tightly wrapped pill shape. They don’t need to package it like that. The box I receive from Amazon would hold a bigger packaging that was flat to prevent all the wrinkles. It’ll due for what I need but it looks like crap on my mower. It doesn’t really fit my mower seat which is a common mower seat size (Troy-Bilt/MTD) but at least there is a clip that goes under the seat to make sure it stays in place and doesn’t come off. The cost was reasonable and it fits my needs but I had to remove one star for the bad zipper (which caused the need for wasting my time to order the replacement and making me drive to ship the faulty one back)…I had to remove the second star for the stupid packaging. Unfortunately, there weren’t a ton of other covers that have everything I wanted and Troy-Bilt doesn’t seem to make a specific cover for their seats like John Deer and Husqvarna.
