This 990 EVO SSD (2TB) is an excellent upgrade for my laptop, especially after my OEM drive failed. I got it a few days ago. Mounted on my ASUS TUF GAMING B550M PLUS WI as main storage. Cloning my old disk with Samsung Magician was easy and fast. There is no need to mount a heat dissipation unit. Performance was as expected (even if I am currently using it on a PCI-e 4.0 slot since my AM4 motherboard doesn't support PCIe 5.0. Let's see if keeps performing well over the time.
