Having been through a few lower priced projectors in which setup takes a while, this one was refreshingly simple. It's also a nice, compact design with very little fan noise (if any). I have my bed in the center of my room, place my projector on the floor above the head and project the image onto the ceiling. This little guy was magic in that regard as I was able to quickly adjust the stand and once I turned it on, it instantly adjusted keystone. The ratio of the screen/distance was superb. It's nearly a 7' width from an 8' throw. The remote is simple enough that you can easily feel your way around it after a couple tries. The android app was also clear and concise. Sound is great compared to others I have tried. I don't have quips about this little guy at all, and recommend it if you are considering a projector. I personally will no longer be purchasing large, bulky televisions (including computer monitors) when you have this compact, lightweight and easily installed solution. Five stars. ... show more

I paid little less than 600 bucks. Honestly for the money, I am very satisfied (I wouldn't buy it for the regular price). I am quite satisfied with the picture quality and the practicality. Being able to shoot the picture on the ceiling and watch youtube is just amazing. Plus I really like the design of the projector. No matter where I put it in my house, it perfectly fits anywhere. Of course, there are few things that need improvement: slow processor and poor heat management. This is not so much about the projector itself, but what is called the Amazon Warehouse and the deals they advertise. The description of the item condition is absolutely inaccurate. The projector was described as “like new”, instead, I have received a unit that was nothing like. It was clearly used extensively for a long period of time and without any respect. It was not cleaned ever. It was missing a power supply and a cable so I was not able even to turn it on. Not like I wanted to after I saw it covered with grease, I hope it was not some kind of bodily fluid. Instead of help or some kind of apology from Amazon representative, I was advised to buy a cheap generic Chinese adapter and to be happy with the deal. So I ended up missing out Prime Day discount and wasted my time by hauling that thing back to UPS. Never again. ... show more

For $800 I was on the fence about buying this projector for a long time. Then I found this refurbished one and saved $300! Wow! And it works amazing! Now I know very little about projectors but wanted one for an outdoor movie setup in our yard. When I first set it up I was a bit disappointed that it was very difficult to get a picture in any type of daylight. The picture was better once I brought it inside where it was a bit darker. So this is not something you can use in well lit areas BUT at night the picture was AMAZING! I love that apps are already loaded on it and I got an hdmi adapter to hook video games and our direct TV up too. Sound could be better but you can Bluetooth to other speakers in the app settings. It also doesn't have a rechargeable battery but you can add one. We use our ryobi portable charger otherwise keep it plugged in. If your a newbie at using projectors, like me, this is great for you. I love mine. But I am seeing people who are more experienced with projectors who wouldn't choose this one. So do your research and if nothing else...the refurbished ones are great. I registered mine on Samsung and also got a 3 year warranty through Amazon. Great deal ... show more

I didn't realize when purchasing this projector that the automatic adjustment includes the shape of the picture- very cool! You can literally plop down this projector on your coffee table, aim, turn on, and enjoy. Brightness is great at night, I think you would probably have to pay more to find something that can really work during the day anyway. You can download apps like Plex that don't come already installed. The remote control lag others have mentioned only happens sometimes, not constantly. If you're on the fence and you are like me (too lazy to research thoroughly) you'll probably be pretty happy with this purchase. I'm glad I didn't buy a TV that would take up space in my apartment, and that I can bring this with me for outdoor movie nights if I want! ... show more

Had this projector working completely fine for about a year and a half, one day I got to turn it on and the audio is working fine but the visual quality is all artifacting. Didn’t know I needed a warranty for a big company like Samsung that is known for quality products but I’ll take the blame for not getting one. Samsung also wants to charge me around $250 without warranty to fix the product which is half the price of a brand new one. ... show more

I bought this for a family party just to show pictures but wanted something I'd be able to easily stream from popular services as well. I have an older off brand protector and it was a pain to set up. The old one had to be manually adjusted and on a level surface as well as manually focused. Not to mention had to hook up to it with an HDMI cord! This one has the Samsung TV os and provided a quick way to get to popular streaming services. The remote it came with is USB c rechargeable but I have a hard time making that work. I mostly just use the app to control it and haven't had any issues with that. Also able to connect over Bluetooth, wifi, and AirPlay. The auto focus, level, and adjust picture isn't totally perfect but it's miles away from my old one.
