I have been using this phone holder on my bike, and it has worked well for keeping my phone where I can see it while riding. The mount feels sturdy without adding a lot of bulk to the handlebars, and the phone holder has a clean, simple design. The clamping mechanism holds the phone securely, and the one hand operation makes it easy to put the phone in or take it out. Once adjusted to the phone size, the side grips hold it firmly without making the installation complicated. After riding with it, I appreciated that I can make quick adjustments without having to stop and fuss with the mount. The phone stays positioned where I set it, and the holder has not worked loose from normal riding. The ability to rotate the phone is also useful when changing between portrait and landscape orientation. This mount is super steady and quite maneuverable. It came way under the price point I'd expect for something so well engineered--and it was very simple to affix to my bars. It grips my Galaxy S23 Ultra securely, but I did have to remove my Otterbox Defender case, not because it wouldn't fit--it did, but it was a tight fit and needied some fiddling to remove it, defeating the one handed operation. I took a minor spill (okay I lost my balance) yet the mount withmy phone remained rock solid and was cushioned at all four corners against impact well. I'm glad I purchased this piece of kit, until I purchase a dedicated bike computer, and encourage the reader of this review to do the same. ... show more

Locking toggle is defective

This is the second time I've purchased the Lamicall holder, my eScooter was stolen and this was a replacement for the new scooter. The first one was fantastic no sliding, no vibrating, easily rotated from the vertical position to horizontal. All of these things are equally true about this second holder. There is one defect though. The locking toggle on the back doesn't work 2/3 of the time. You expand the holder to put your phone inside, let it go and the holder shrinks down gripping the phone in place, flip the locking toggle on the back and the holder can't expand locking your phone in until you flip the toggle back. This second holder, two-thirds of the time the toggle flips half way and suddenly stops. Leaving it unlocked and unable to be pushed any further in the locked direction. You then flip it back to the unlocked position and flip it again to locked. It's always worked by the second or third try. It's easy to tell if it's working because it gently clicks in and out of the locked position. I'm going to exchange this holder and will update my review ... show more

Fits amazingly on my bike. Love the adjustable clamp, can’t really see through the back camera so wouldn’t recommend it for recording your biking trails. Didn’t budge an inch against large bumps, stayed intact and protected my phone. Loved the lock feature, kept it from falling off. Doesn’t impact the ability to type or use your phone while idle. solid mount for city and trail riding

I bought this a little while back, and wanted to report after putting it through some proper abuse. After a full summer of rides both in the city and on trails, getting caught in the rain, and being switched between different bikes, it's still holding up great! Since it stretches to fit the phone, I haven't had any issues with having a heavier duty phone case. The only minor problem is that the locking mechanism seems to need to fit in certain grooves, so instead of squeezing it tight around my phone, I've got to pull the locking lever on the back while moving the clamps slightly to find the sweet spot. But even with that the phone still hasn't fallen out even on rougher rides. ... show more
