Great shoes — extremely comfortable after a few hours of break-in. The shoes were comfortable from the start, but the leather seemed VERY dry so it didn’t have all the flex it could have. Solution: Used Kiwi leather lotion on all surfaces both inside and outside. Yes, I even used it on the insole and inside the toe box. The following day, the leather was supple and began molding to my feet in the first hour of wear. BTW, the blue leather is dark, and that’s exactly what I wanted. These are beautiful sandals made with attention to detail and the quality is there. You can’t go wrong when you buy a pair of Dansko shoes. They cost a bit more than other shoe brands, but in my experience with my previous pair, they will last for many years so they are worth it. I purchased these because I’ve been having trouble with plantar fasciitis in one of my feet. I needed arch support and these feel like they will provide that for me. ... show more

Here is what I love about the Dansko Lucia shoe: - Stylish and beautiful shoe - Very comfortable - True to size - Have I mentioned how great they look? - This would have been a 5 star review, if the following did not happen. This is my issue: I bought these shoes last May (about 4 months ago) and they are already falling apart at the straps. I LOVED these shoes up until this point. These are expensive shoe too--almost $150. I would have imagined that I would have at least gotten a year or two out of them. As they are heels, I did not wear them roughly so I am not sure what is going on. Dansko does not have a warranty to cover them. ... show more

I love this shoe (style, fit, comfort) and intend to keep it however, it should be noted that the color is very different from what is pictured. I ordered the color "Denim", which in the Amazon photo appears to be a mid-range smoky blue microsuede finish. The actual shoe I received is a dark navy, almost black color, smooth finish. I confirmed with the product numbers inside the shoe that it is the correct "Denim" color and not an incorrect product in the box. ... show more

I tried these one and wore them walking around the house for about 5 minutes before I couldn’t wait to get them off my feet. The toe box is is narrow and you won’t expect that form the shape of the toe being round. But at the top of the foot where the toe box ends, those corners cut into any bunion or wide big toe or pinky toe that you have. I can define yet foresee blisters in these. The footbed is great and well supported arch but the toe design is poorly narrow and uncomfortable. I expected better from Danilo at this price. These are a return for me. For reference I usually wear a 5.5 in narrow shoes and that’s what I ordered. These are too uncomfortable. ... show more

Perfect fit right out of the box. I am highly prone to blisters and have suffered no discomfort when wearing these. I even wore them at an all-day work conference where I did a lot of walking. I bought the black and they are great—durable and versatile. Beware that the “Denim” color is quite dark. I expected it to be lighter blue but it’s navy or even indigo.
