I bought this strictly to be used on warm nights out in the yard. I didn't need amazing quality, just "good enough for the kids." Currently, it has been being used every night in my office because both the kids and my wife fell in love with it. Picture is really good, at least based on my experience with a $200 projector I had 15 years ago. Built in sound is on par with better TV speakers. Bass isn't great, but since that would vibrate the projector and as a result the picture I am totally happy about that. A bit more mids than cheaper TV speakers. Bluetooth audio is rock solid and how I will be using this going forward. The picture is plenty bright enough on a white screen. You may want to consider using a grey screen if you use this since it uses an LCD panel so the contrast could use the help. Testing on a darker wall did produce a better image, in my opinion. The corners are pretty well focused and it has plenty of configurability through the turn wheels and additionally in the OSD to get the image the right size, shape and sharpness. I do have complaints, but that is more to do with the lack of information from the store page and the manual. I intended to use this with a USB drive since it would be used outdoors. All we are told is a few video containers it is compatible with. None of the container specifics or codecs that can be used within. I spend a few hours testing and can at least tell you that it does not work with h.264 or h.265 video codecs and doesn't play any AC3 audio. If you use .mp4 as your container you can't use use bit ordering (web optimization) to speed up scrubbing and if you pass meta data it may or may not play your video (very inconsistent). The .mp4 A/V sync worked well. MKV containers worked well, but had worse A/V sync. Basically, if you have more modern encoded videos you will need to spend time transcoding them to something worse like mpeg-4 and aac if you plan to use a USB drive to store videos for this. I still have inconsistency with video files playing to the end through this method. Hooking up a cheap $20 Android box to the HDMI seems to be the best/easiest fix, but if you don't already have one lying around that should be considered as part of the price of the projector if you are considering buying one of these. Overall, if you want something that will work well on a budget, this seems to be a really good option. ... show more

I bought this projector to use for outside movie nights with my family. When I saw this mini projector I was somewhat hesitant to buy it because it was listed so cheap. You always think if you buy cheap you get cheap but this is not thE case. When I got the projector it came with everything to set it up and use it right out of the box. I tried every input type to ensure it worked. I was able to watch a movie off a flash drive, I plugged a Kindle Fire stick into it, I’ve played with my switch and my xBox One on it. It has been an amazing little machine. Indoors quality is really good. You do need a darkened room but I could low amounts of light in the right circumstances doesn’t feminist the quality a whole lot but you’re not going to use the projector in a lit room anyway. So far I’ve been able to project up to the specified largest screen size and found that the projector works well. It does become a little pixelated at the largest projection rate but for what I paid for this projector it was not an issue I would complain about. My living room television went out and I’m currently using this projector in its place until my television gets repaired. I worried at fist about extended use, wondering if it would over heat, but after several weeks of use and 1 full 10-12 hours running in 1 day I find this little projector is worth the purchase price. As you can see in the photos I have my mini projector mounted on a camera tripod, which easily screws into the leveler screw on the bottom front of the projector. I use a JBL Flip 4 speaker or a large portable Karaoke speaker I’ve had for a while. If you’re looking for a mini projector for outdoors fun or even as a gaming projector this one is a great investment. I have had 0 issues with this projector and I’m looking forward to seeing how long the projector lamp will last before needing to be replaced. Photo one is the projector in my wife’s school office at home. Screen size comparable to 60” television. Photo two is outside projected on a cinder block wall that has not been prepped or painted for projection. Screen size comparable to 110” television. Photo 3 is in my living room projected onto the wall where my revision is usually mounted. At this location I did have to add some blackout curtains to block more light.     • Great product for the price
Nice picture, easy to set up and use, but the fan is a bit louder. Cromcast works well, no stuttering, the speaker is loud enough, the sound quality is also good. Satisfied with the projector image even with the light on in the room. The rating is 4 only because of the loud fan.

I bought this projector in order to replace having to buy an expensive big TV for my small apartment. It is absolutely the best idea I’ve ever had! The picture quality is amazing, especially for the price! Super clear and makes watching TV like a theater experience every day. Obviously, it is harder to see when it is bright in my apartment but I usually am able to keep my kitchen light on and still see the picture very clear (as shown in my picture). I also use a bluetooth speaker to connect to the projector in order to better the sound quality, but the projectors speaker is a decent as is. The set up is also extremely simple and user friendly. The company is also something to rave about! I was experiencing a malfunctioning fan issue with my first projector that I had bought and I was able to reach out to their customer service, figure out what was going on, and had them send me a new replacement projector all within a few days. Their prompt responses and knowledge about the technical aspects of the projector was very impressive. I will never use another brand of projector after this experience! ... show more
