Great projector at a great price. Works as advertised and better than most of the reviews give it credit for. Pros: Easy to setup, good sound quality, great picture quality. Cons: Runs a bit hot which is OK, but either the fan they use is under powered, or the built in power switcher is low efficency and needs to offload this task to an exterior dc converter. fan might not be static pressure fan either. Its intake is tiny and the output is 4x the size with mesh screens choking what area the intake has. I haven't tried bluetooth as its not able to be screen shared to. All in all, I'm no engineer and this unit gets 9/10... with that 1/10 fearing for how long it might last at those temps.

Update** Very pleased with everything except the lack of keystone correction and again, the internal sound is not great. Contacted customer service and they said they would correct the listing to reflect that there is no keystone correction. Haven’t done that so far. For the price this is a really good projector. Customer service is exceptional. So far this is a good projector for the money. Brightness is good. Picture is good. The internal sound is nothing to brag about but that’s the case with most of these the projectors. The only complaint I have so far is that it lists that it has keystone correction in the description. It does not. Not unless you consider moving the projector to be keystone correction. The very essence of keystone correction is to overcome the fact that you can’t move the projector. Other than that I’m pretty pleased so far. Update to come later.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with the HOMPOW HD 4K Google TV Projector! At first, I wasn’t familiar with the brand, but after using this projector, I can confidently say I’m starting to really like their products. The picture quality is fantastic—sharp, clear, and vibrant even in a well-lit room, and the 4K resolution makes all my content look stunning. Setting it up was straightforward, and I love that it has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, making streaming and connecting my devices super easy. This projector is perfect for outdoor movie nights and home cinema experiences. The compatibility with iOS and Android devices is seamless, and I appreciate the official Netflix licensing, so I can enjoy all my favorite shows without any hassle. Overall, a fantastic purchase that has exceeded my expectations—looking forward to exploring more HOMPOW projectors! I will say this though make sure that the background you use to project on is smooth. The video I uploaded was shot on a textured wall and the image quality was graining. I then tried a smooth surface and the difference was night an day.

I’ve been using the HOMPOW HD 4K Google TV projector, and it’s a great budget-friendly option for movie nights! The setup was super easy, and I love that it connects via WiFi and Bluetooth for quick streaming. The picture looks sharp in darker rooms, though it’s not true 4K and can lose clarity in bright light. Overall, perfect for cozy home cinema vibes without breaking the bank!

I’m a bit disappointed...I thought a few of the generic 1080p projectors I’d been comparing were a bit overpriced while delivering less-than-advertised picture quality, so I jumped on this cheaper, mid-range version when I saw it pop up. I thought it would be a better value overall for casual viewing and a background movie for a party I was hosting. In summary: meh. I suppose I got what I paid for: It has decent quality, and I'll give it that. As a basic projector, for casual or background viewing, it is fine. But personally, I wish now that I had waited for another lightning deal on on of the higher end generics (6500lumens, 1080p, etc) that I had been planning on. This model is fine, as far as brightness: you don't need pitch black for a causal viewing experience, and it works decently in mid-light. Props for that. The picture quality is is fine, with an easy-to-navigate user interface (color, balance, sharpness, etc) and input selection (USB, HDMI, RCA, etc), and easy to plug in a 3.5mm jack to my Bose speakers. No problem there. The manual focus and basic keystone adjustments also work well to get a mostly-clear picture, that sits almost square on a basic screen. But more than that? Yeah, now I wish I'd gone with the next level projector that has additional keystone adjustments and a sharper picture, as well as a higher contrast ratio. I appreciate all the color and balance adjustments...but no matter how hard I try, I just can't get it sharp enough or color-correct enough to my liking. This projector is probably great for kids in a bonus room, or outside in the backyard by the pool, or as a background at a party, or for multimedia use in a presentation or at an event. But as far as a long term investment or for better quality screenings with friends, I really wish now that I had gone with the next level or two up. I just didn't figure this out until after the return window had passed, and I couldn't exchange it. I'm a little bummed, but now I'm stuck with it, and it's a fine quality for the price, so it's fine. Especially if you're on a budget. Don't get me wrong: as a budget projector, it's great. But if you can swing a little higher price, I would recommend going with a little more lumens, higher contrast ratio, and higher resolution picture—it will just be a better long term investment and feel like a better value. However, if you're looking for a decent/decent-plus projector, that delivers a fairly clear, fairly bright, mostly-accurate color, and almost-straight picture, for kids or casual viewing in mid-to-dark lighting conditions, then this one is a great deal for the money.
