Entire hutch reeks of cedar which is highly toxic to rabbits. The specifications indicate it’s made of wood but not what kind. I’m through step 4 of assembly and deep in regrets. It’s a shame companies value profit over safety of animals or humans these days 😤 0/10 recommend. Returning something half assembled like this is a big pain in the ass so it would be nice if companies were transparent about their product.

The media could not be loaded. This turned out to be a very nice looking cage for rabbits or guinea pigs. It is a large size. It features a place for the animals to hide, and also a second floor with a ramp for them to have more areas to roam. It has a solid wood construction. All the parts were included. It was helpful for me to use an electric drill to run the screws which were all phillips screws. A screwdriver would work, but it would take longer. All the hardware that was needed came with it. It also features a door that is latched by a wooden heart which can swivel to allow for the door to be a ramp so that the animals can also climb out of the cage in case you have a larger area which you would like to be able to let the animals access on their own or retreat back to the cage when they want to. I thought that was a nice feature. The entire top of it is on hinges with latches on the front so that it can be easily opened up for cleaning or to access your pets. It has a drip tray that can hold a lot of debris which easily slides out of there for easy cleaning. The bottom of the cage , and part of the sides is a durable mesh material which will allow drippings, and other debris to fall down into the tray. It doesn't seem like they will really be able to easily chew the wood, but it is slightly possible since it is made of wood. The wood is painted, and I thought it could have probably used a more durable paint although it does look nice. I can always add some more paint so to me that wasn't a problem. It is very easy to access the animals if you need to. It was not hard to assemble, and the directions were very good. The top fit, but it didn't align perfectly. It does work though. For an animal cage I think the variance is acceptable. I was not happy that it came smelling like cologne. I am very sensitive to it, and it really set into the wood since it was trapped in a package with it. I would prefer if it just smelled like wood or paint since I am very allergic to cologne, and I would not want to expose my pet to it either. I left it in the garage for a week, and that seemed to mostly get rid of it. Overall I think it is a very nice product. I think it is a good value for the money. It is a unique and also nice item that will be a very large comfortable home for bunnies or other small pets. I forgot to mention that it has 4 locking wheels that really work well. It also sets up off of the ground several inches which makes it more likely to avoid pests from getting in there. I am happy with it. I think it is a 4 star item. It has a lot of good features.

The quality of this rabbit hutch is amazing for the price. It’s easy to assemble, durable and very sturdy. I have had rabbits for years and it’s crazy how much you can spend on housing for them, so I think that this is a great value for the money. Rabbits are also prone to getting sores on their haunches, so the fact that this is 2 levels and one of those allows them to get up off the wire is awesome. You will want to have a plan for keeping that upper level clean though, so if you potty train your bunnies, this is perfect for them. It also has a ramp that you can let down so they can come out and play, which is cool. It’s kind of like a nice dog kennel but for rabbits. It has a “nesting box” that you can put some hay or bedding in for them. There’s more than enough room for food and water bowls and it’s on wheels, so you can move it when you need to clean under and around it. Depending on your rabbit breed it may be enough for 2 rabbits, but it’s not large enough for a Flemish Giant. I would say that if you have one of the smaller breeds, it can easily fit 2, if you have a New Zeeland, this may fit one comfortably. I am impressed with this rabbit hutch and I think it’s great for a new rabbit owner or a seasoned one.
