This is a simple and compact trash bin, good size for a small kitchen or small family. It is sleek and clean-lined, not like a hamper or industrial looking one, but there are no LinerLock bag wires inside. A regular 13 gallon trash bag fits snuggly on the rim, although it does require some stretching and pulling. The trash bin came with some smudges. Need to be cleaned right out of the box. Some imperfections on the rim are sharp, but can be easily taken care of with a craft knife. The push button works just fine. No spring jumps out yet. A couple of differences between this one and the Spring Top 14.9 x 17.2 x 25.5 inches model is that this one does not have lock lid feature. The lid just sits loosely on top of the bin. Also, when the lid is in open position 1/4 of the opening is blocked and the lid sits 1 inch below the opening thus a higher chance to get trash caught on the lid by accident. Whereas the Spring Top model can open 100% without the lid blocking the opening, which is a nice feature. We bought this trash bin based on only one photo on its listing. Hope this helps! Update 3-23-2021: It's hard to believe buying a working trash bin could be so difficult. After being a bit disappointed by the Rectangle Spring Top, we bought the Spring Top. Turns out not only the new trash can arrived even dirtier than the Rectangle Spring Top, it wobbles like a tumbler toy. The all around smudges look like it's been used and returned. The finish of the plastic also look dull and cheap. We decided to stick with the Rectangle Spring Top. At least it is stable and looks a lot nicer. Hope we can return this second one with no problem.     • Does Exactly What it's Supposed to Do

I use it outside under a covered patio. It works great. The spring loaded bag holders are easy to use and hold the bag without an issue. The tub is sturdy. The cover is spring loaded and works like a charm. The latch holds the cover down in high winds. All in all, a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Took it out of the box and immediately broke. The hinges on the lid are weak and wouldn’t swing open. The closure where the lid sits is too flimsy to open with one hand, have to use two, which is not practical when you’re holding trash! Not worth it

It seems to be well made and the lid works well. I ordered 3 and they did arrive in separate boxes which seemed like a waste of packaging and postage. With Amazon Prime I wasn't paying for shipping but still seemed wasteful.

Came broken, I had to fix the spring for the pop top feature because it was bent on one side and backwards on other side. Only reason I didn't return is because I had already destroyed the box it came in and it was cheap so I thought "ok whatever I'm handy." My other qualm with this can is how easy it holds onto smells. I use the fabuloso scented bags, I take out the trash every couple days, I wash out stuff that would smell, but this can is made out of a cheap plastic that literally grabs onto even the slightest bad odor.
