I recently purchased a new Pittsburgh 3-Ton Low Profile Floor Jack from Harbor Freight and read reviews on many different offerings from Amazon to find a saddle pad to be used on both of my vehicles' pinch welds and/or frames. It came down to these two Amazon item #'s: B07QYSLW8R (Y-Z Room Universal Floor Jack Rubber Pad - Mfg: YZ-ROOM) and B083TP6WCL (Universal Floor Jack Rubber Pad Jack Adapter Pinch Weld Protector - Mfg: A ABIGAIL). Both items seem to be made of the same type of solid thick rubber material that should last several years depending on use. I specifically purchased both because there are slight differences in the groove depth on top and the groove width around the circumference of the bottom. I wanted one that would fit my floor jack best as they are both labeled as being "universal". For my recently purchased Pittsburgh jack the A Abigail product fit better and flat against the jack's saddle. The one from Y-Z Room had a narrower groove on the bottom that would not seat the entire raised part of the saddle. This causes it to slightly shift on one side and not remain flat. I have included some pictures of both items. If you have a Harbor Freight Pittsburgh floor jack I would recommend the A Abigail item B083TP6WCL as it will fit much better and flat on your saddle. I am returning the Y-Z Room pad, not because it is a poor product. I am returning it because it doesn't fit as well in my case. Hopefully, this helps someone else. When you are looking at these things on Amazon they all look the same even though their prices vary by a few dollars. They are definitely not the same. I did not include any photos of the pads on the jack because the photos couldn’t accurately demonstrate the difference. ... show more

It's a hard rubber puck with a slot on one side. Not much to this. It works. Has held up to minor use. The base may not fit in the saddle of your jack, so you may want to measure that first.

Mandatory for any jack really, especially jacking up cars with pinch welds. I recommend not getting a black one though - I lost the first one. Should have gotten a red one so it stands out. If youre reading this, buy this now!
