  • From Civic to Tacoma’s+ wheels?
Style: Off-Road Trolley Jack
Low enough for my civic. Tall enough for my Tacoma. Perfect for my atv’s. I bought a aftermarket trolley jack pad that has a slot for pinch welds. Works good, compact and wheels make it great!

  • Good Heavy Duty Bottle Jack
Style: All-in-One
I bought this for my Class C Winnebago View. Jack is very heavy duty which is what I was looking for. No complaints.

  • Best Bottle/jack stand ever.
Style: All-in-One
I initially bought 2 and then I had to buy the other two from how great these are. Great system and is fail-proof with the locking mechanism, easy to operate and it also has a big base. You can raise a whole car within 5 minutes by periodically lifting each corner separately (you just have to be careful and know what you are doing). The downside is that you may have to lift a low SUV with something else before placing these jacks underneath due to the height, but these are the perfect size for any big and in my case lifted SUV, and also for tall vehicles with the extension mechanism. After, a year of periodical use the rubber holder broke in half (I knew this would happen since it's obvious that it will fail at some point due to the shape and how the side of vehicles sit as a blade on the rubber holder). I wish they sold these separately or that they had a metal version of these. That the only complaint that I have. Besides that with some regular (once a year) grease on the jack and mechanism as normal and expected, these are the best bottle jack/stands that exist. Certainly worth the price. I would certainly buy more if I ever had to, but Already have 4 and I don't need any more. ... show more

  • Flawed manufacture, looks nice, though
Style: All-in-One
The particular one I bought does not work as designed (purchased Aug 2025). The design concept is brilliant. The execution and final manufacture of the product is frustrating and missed the mark for 2 reasons, which I will briefly discuss. Is there value in this? Yes. I was actually able to use this on a 2003 Honda CRV and 1997 Chevy Silverado 1-ton. The device very capably lifted and held both vehicles in the air so that tires could be removed and replaced. What the device did NOT do was fully retract once the tires were replaced. In both instances I had to frustratingly use an additional jack to lift the car a tiny bit so I could pull this CAT jack out from under the car. It is very important to note that I had to use force from my hand and body weight to get the Cat bottle jack to fully recess, once out from under the car. In other words, I spent well over $140 for a partially functioning jack. I hope the one I received was the exception to the rule, and was a lemon. Am I irritated? Absolutely. Should you buy this? I truly wouldn't recommend it because it essentially only works in two of the three ways that I need it, or anyone else does: 1. It capably lifts the car/truck. 2. It can function as a jack stand and hold weight in place. But none of this helps me if the device doesn't fully retract under the weight of a 1-ton 1997 Chevy Silverado. I need 2 jacks to remove a tire, that's inane. Causes of the failure to retract: 1. The device sheds black paint every time I retract and release the pressure. 2. It seems to me that even using a 'light oil', as the manual indicates, to lube the arm still doesn't enable the device to retract. It appears my particular device was built poorly such that metal grinds against the housing. Design comments: the build of the design seems quite rugged and convincing. It is clearly capable of lifting and holding a load. The steel used in the base plate and all other parts, those parts are clearly robust. It just doesn't retract. Essentially, if I am on the side of a road/highway IRL, the car/truck will remain lifted because the last 1.75inches won't go back into the housing. My particular model is sooo incredibly disappointing. I hope mine is unique and that everyone else has a functioning one, but I would not recommend this to anyone else until Caterpillar corrects this glaring design flaw. There is absolutely no use for the black paint on the shaft of the arm. Even if the removing the black paint on mine, through repeated usage, does occur there still remains the flaw of the arm being prevented from retracting back into the housing because these two parts are not fitting properly, they are essentially grinding against one another. I followed the instructions prior to use. This is not related to air. This is metal on metal working against the intended design. I'll still use mine as a jack stand, I'm not bothering to ship this back to Northern Tool. However, it still won't prevent me from being honest on my review. I wanted this one to work, obviously. It failed in the 3rd stage of the process. ... show more

  • Excellent Jack!
Style: 4500LBS Extra Low Profile
This is a great Jack. Once you raise the vehicle, you can use the very strong bar and slide it into the holes so that if the jack failed in any way the bar would prevent the jack from collapsing. This jack is built like a tank.

  • Paint gets scrapped off. Possible defect or bad batch.
Style: All-in-One
Generally worked as intended, be aware that this all-in-one jack is tall and may not fit under smaller SUVs or Pick-Ups. Like a few others have reported, the main post/shaft does bind when lowering the vehicle, and the paint gets scraped off.

  • Good jack for the price
Style: Off-Road Trolley Jack
I've used the Cat Wheelie 2 ton off road trolley jack a few times lifting a 1/2 ton Chev pickup. I like it's design, lift extension and rolls easy. It is more difficult to pump than my old jack, especially underneath the truck where it's difficult to get leverage. Overall, I still like the jack.
