The first one I ordered was defective. The gears would not turn to allow me to open or close the cylinder. They seemed locked up like the jack wasn't assembled properly from the factory. The second one seems to not have that issue and is working fine.

I have never owned a floor jack before so this is my very first experience with one. First, the build quality is amazing and It is a lot easier to use than the small jack that came with my car. Just pump it a few times and you’re all good. It is super easy to use. I thought it would be bigger but it is kind of portable. It can fit easily in the trunk. It may be heavy for some people to be portable. One thing I noticed, when going down, it is super sensitive. I have tried my best to turn it slowly for it to come down smoothly but it always goes down fast. It is like it drops the car.
