Most of me was fed up with my old jack which leaked and blah blah blah, so anything was better than that. I like the lighter weight aluminum construction. The 2 stage rapid-lift is a great feature. It's more expensive than many others, and honestly, I am not confident in it's aluminum construction to be used regularly for the front of 3/4 ton pickups. update after 18 months. this Jack has been used to lift a 1 ton van, several half ton trucks, a 5 ton box truck, a 20 yard solid steel dumpster and multiple passenger vehicles. I am still extremely happy with my purchase and I have never had a problem with it. this jack is replacing a three-year old 3 ton solid steel floor jack. The old Jack weighs 110 pounds this one weighs less than 60. Before I make a purchase I typically read most of the reviews for the item. After reading the reviews for this Jack I was not sure what to expect. I decided to go ahead and make the purchase and if I experienced any of the issues mentioned in other peoples reviews I would just return it. This jack arrived in perfect condition with absolutely no problems. The manufacturer applied grease to the inside of the neck where the handle attaches, to the roller areas where the handle rolls against the Pistons and to the pivot points for the handle. This jack looks great, feels extremely light and should last me many years. I also saw other reviewer‘s who mentioned they think the wheels are plastic and some others who mention they thought they were steel. The wheels on the jack I received are aluminum. The rubber pad on the top of the Jack is thin yet effective. I do not expect this pad to stay in brand new condition after jacking up multiple vehicles. I like the attention to detail the manufacturer put into this Jack. The handle is removable without tools, you can separate the two haves of the handle just by depressing a button, the handle has a protective rubber sleeve at the lower portion so you don’t damage your vehicle. Everything about this jack is great quality and I have been happy with my purchase. I saw some other people who mentioned having issues with bleeding this jack. I turned the handle to the left so the Jack would not build pressure as directed by the card that comes with the Jack. Pump it about 10 times then tighten the handle to the right. The Jack started pumping up immediately with no issues. I raised the Jack to its full height then lowered it all the way down again. I took a large flat head screw driver and open the fill port on the hydraulic cylinder to allow any extra air to escape. After tightening the cap back up I have had no problems and have not needed to bleed this Jack again. ... show more

    • Easy to use, high-quality, works great
This jack is extremely well-built and feels good to use. It lifts easily and gives me confidence. It's a big heavy jack, so it's not incredibly maneuverable, but it's far lighter than similar feeling steel jacks which does make it easier to shift around. Two handles on the body of the jack also make lifting and moving it easier. The lifting pad is large and has a grippy rubber, though I always use an additional puck to protect my car. It is a true low-profile and works for my mildly lowered Miata and is long enough to reach any jack point easily. It's just as capable lifting a much heavier Tesla and I'm sure would also work for even larger vehicles. It has an impressive lifting range from ~3 inches to ~20 inches. The handle has protective padding on the lower half and comes apart to enable use in narrower spaces where a full length handle doesn't fit well. Two complaints but not enough to dock stars, - Removing the shipment securing hook after receiving the jack was very challenging and felt somewhat dangerous to my fingers - The whole handle is not easily removable (requires using a wrench) which makes storage more difficult or time consuming ... show more

On par with most other reputable brands for floor jacks. I would argue the maneuverability/function is better than most actually, super light-weight and jacks up most any vehicle fast. Would purchase again!
