I ordered this for a repair on a WRX, and I am so glad I did. I ordered the 7000lb capacity because I also have a truck that I can use it on as well. It will also fit under our Mini Cooper with the extensions taken off, making these jack very beneficial for me. It is rather heavy, but it easily moved with the wheels on the end. Once I got the jacks into place it was a very tight fit and the included rubber stands were to tall so I used wood blocks to provide the cushioned I needed so my lift wasn't metal to metal. I have changed this and am now using hockey pucks to provide more cushion. The lift performs flawlessly and the vehicle has been raised and lowered numerous times with zero problems. The locks engage flawlessly and I feel quite secure with crawling under the car. The lift capacity is around 19 inched because I cannot use the included blocks but I'm fine with that. With two hockey pucks I get a ground clearance of 21.5 inches, high enough for me to use my creeper and be comfortable. Assembly was super easy with very good directions. At its highest point there is no wobble or sway, these are solid lifts. If you are looking for an easier way to work on your vehicles, I would highly recommend these hydraulic jacks. Make sure you have the hydraulic fluid on hand as the jacks do not come with the fluid. This is stated in the product description, so I ordered it as well and it arrived before the jacks showed up. They were well packaged and arrived with zero damage. I cannot begin to say how pleased I am with these. I'm actually looking forward to the routine tire rotations now....

I was looking for a car lift to ease my car maintenance work. I was tired of using jacks, jack stands, car ramps for oil changes and tire rotations. Using the car ramp had the car at an angle, it works fine with cars with drain plugs facing the back of the car but my 2022 GLB250 has the drain plug facing to the front of the engine and surely it wasn't an ideal situation. I wanted to have both brands of my vehicles (Subaru and Benz) to be horizontal to the floor while performing oil changes. Finally made up my mind and decided to get a car lift. viewed a couple of YouTube videos and after looking over multiple brands and having retuned one (Garvee) which was well built but had quality control issues right out of the box, minimalistic manual and poor customer service (it would not lock one lift on the front side, which was a major safety concern). There are many brand in the same price range and Albott seemed to have a decent amount of positive reviews and their product page had videos that showed how to assemble, trouble shoot issues with the lift which was a major plus for me. When the product went on sale during Prime Day I decided to get it. Order 1 Gal. of ISO46 hydraulic oil along with this lift to save yourself the trouble of ordering some after you get the lift. I had ordered 3 gallons of TRIAX brand for the Garvee, it required only 2 gallons even though the manual said it required 9 liters of hydraulic oil. I received the package in 3 boxes as advertised and 2 shipments as informed by the seller. The seller was in constant contact regarding shipping, usage and support in case of any issues with shipping or product issues. FedEx delivered the second package after a couple of days delay and damaged the boxes as you can see in the images. The product itself was luckily not damaged except for the end caps on one of the lifts being damaged. I did find that the box that contained the tubes, rubber pads, extension and motor had hydraulic oil leaking all over the cables and tubes which was a mess and had to spend time cleaning up the oil. taking away a star for that, if the accessories were better packages in plastic bags the oil spill would not have affected the tubes and wires. Assembling the lift was very easy and intuitive. Another plus when compared with the Garvee 7000 lbs. lift was the power cable and lift control cables were longer and a big plus giving one some flexibility of placement of the hydraulic pump. Albott came with a decent manual in the box with detailed instructions. Tested the lift on the GLB250 and found that it worked as expected without any issues. When lifting the sound you hear in the video is that of the car shock absorbers making noise not the lift itself. This lift also unlike the Garvee reset back to it's original position after lowering the car without any issues. I also checked for leaks on all the points of connection and found none. I did use a rubber-cork pad to elevate the rubber pad along with the rubber jack pad for the GLB250 at the jack points and aligned them prior to lifting the car. I have included measurements of maximum height achieved by the lift with the included rubber pads and the pad I used which is about 1/2 or 3/4 inch I think. You do loose about an inch of height due to the recessed platform of the lift where you place the rubber pads and lifting columns. Using the lifting column, the height can also be increased further by about 10 inches but I didn't have clearance from the lift to the jack points on the GLB250 to try them out, would have to get the car lifted then have something placed under the wheels to give it some height and replace the rubber pads with the lifting columns after lowering the lift. I do have concerns with the welding of the lifting column base to the screw themselves. The lifts by themselves are pretty heavy they do slide ok on my rubber mats in the garage. The max height the lift itself when raised is 18 inches from the floor (17 with the recessed platform).

I love this lift, so far they have worked great! The only thing to be aware of is they are kind of heavy to move around. They fit under cars that a very low which is nice but also have 4 solid blocks and 4 adjustable blocks for higher vehicles like SUVs or Trucks. I have 2 C5 Corvettes one is at the stock height and the jacks just fit under it, the other has been lowered and I have to drive on to some 2 x 10s. I can raise the cars up and lower them on to wheel cribs that I made and then using the adjustable blocks raise the car another 6" which gives me plenty of room to work under the cars. Another thing I like is this style lift raises the car straight up where some of the other style lifts move the car several inches one direction as it lifts. Because of the weight of the lift the boxes they are shipped in take a beating, some of the plastic caps on the ends were broke but not a big deal. I think shipping them in crates would be a better shipping method but would probably raise the price a bit.

Leaks, leaks and more leaks - seller will keep asking you to prove that it isn't their fault and eventually you will figure out how to obtain replacement parts and fix it your self. Also the up and down buttons were reversed on the control unit which you can also fix yourself. Once the leaks are fixed, the lift itself works as described. The lifting platforms are as HEAVY as other reviews mention. Be sure to save the shipping boxes for several weeks, otherwise you get to try to recreate those for any return. +

I am very pleased with this purchase. The packages arrived very quickly. As some others have noted, the outside of the boxes were a bit rough (especially the longer two that contain the lifting units), but nothing was broken on the inside. And yes, they are heavy, which is a good thing in a way -- you obviously want this to be sturdy. The minimal assembly required (attaching wheels, handles and one hydraulic connection per side) is straightforward. They even included teflon tape. I have used the lift once so far, and it works exactly as expected/desired. I used it on a BMW Z4, and although it was tight, everything fit to lift straight from the ground (I didn't need to drive on ramps first, but I couldn't use the provided lifting pads -- I used the "pucks" that I had that fit directly into the BMW jack pads). The lift moves slowly (and smoothly) enough that I was able to gingerly line everything up before lifting the whole way. This is presumably easier on cars with more traditional lifting points. Once in the air the locking plates fell into place on their own and provide a very reassuring mechanical lock; coupled with the very solid construction I felt safe under the car. Lowering the lift was equally easy; just raise it a bit then set the lever on each lock before lowering. As bonus the pump is nice and quiet. Overall, a very solid purchase that I expect to get lots of use out of.

I bought this portable vehicle lift because of its 7,000 lb rating, but I wasn’t impressed with its performance when lifting my 5,500 lb vehicle. It eventually gets the job done, but it struggles more than I expected and doesn’t inspire much confidence during the lift. Setup was straightforward, and it does make basic maintenance easier than using jack stands. However, the lifting speed is slow under load, and the motor seems to work harder than it should. The overall build quality is decent, but I expected more for a lift with this advertised capacity. It’s usable for lighter vehicles and occasional work, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t rely on it for frequent lifting of heavier SUVs or trucks. There is plenty of space to be able to work underneath the vehicle and feel comfortable with knowing the locking plates are working. Also does not come with oil. Will need approximately 5quarts of ISO 46 hydraulic oil.

I was hesitant to buy this lift because there were no reviews. I've see the other lifts on Amazon but didn't want to spend what those are priced at. My gamble paid off. This is a very nice lift. It arrived in three packages over two days. Two for the lifts and one with the pump, hoses and accessories. All boxes are very heavy and the cardboard took a beating from shipping. But it is packed fairly well. One lift had some scratches and I just touched it up with black spray paint. The owners manual comes in a heavy zip lock bag. Nice touch. Everything in the pump box was bubble wrapped very well. The pump, even though it was drained of hydraulic oil, was covered in oil. A couple of paper towels took care of that. The owners manual leaves a bit to be desired in translation from Chinese to English, but as long as you have mechanical experience and common sense you'll figure it out. It's not bad, things just could be explained better. Once everything is laid out you thread the hose couplers to each lift, install the wheels and handles, fill the unit with hydraulic oil and it's ready to go. The hose couplers are really nice, easy to hook and unhook with no leaks of oil. It's possible to install the wheels upside down. If that happens the weight would be on the cheap plastic wheels and they would crush. They should be pointing up when installed. That is not clear in the manual. One handle didn't have enough ground clearance and is a finger pitcher. The pump took about 3/4 gal of iso #46 hydraulic oil to fill. It has a nice sight gauge to check the level in addition to a dipstick. I plugged it in pressed the button and both lifts rose in unison. I raised it about seven inches and lowered several times as instructed to bleed the lines. Refilled pump and the unit is good to go. I then raised the unit all the way and engaged the locks. At this time I inspected the unit very carefully, all nuts and bolts, etc. I found a lock release had a broken bolt. This bolt is about 3/32 in diameter and allows the lock release to pivot. There is no load on this bolt. I had a spare on hand so no big deal to change it. Two of the plastic end caps were broken during shipping but they are just cosmetic. I also found a loose screw on one lift. The unit lifts my Dodge Challenger Scat Pack with ease. Absolutely no leaks. Pros: Heavy Duty, well made couplers, pump unit is very nice with sight glass and handle, Con: Wheels are cheap plastic, don't know how long they will last but easily replaced. Handles need to allow for more ground clearance. This unit is extremely heavy although it does move easily on the ground and when sliding under the car. Oh, all those holes in the steel in the photos? Don't worry about it. This thing is beefier then it looks! Update: The next morning I discovered hydraulic oil on the floor under the pump. It was coming from the male hose connectors at the pump. They were both loose and leaking. I tightened them no more leak. Now I know why the pump was covered in oil when I unboxed. Update: 12/01/2024 As of right now this lift is $100 less than I paid for it! I have never seen a portable lift of this quality at this price!
