Edit, the extra bag of screws are longer. I guess if the hole is stripped these would go deeper to hold. I procrastinated for years because I feared it would turn into a nightmare. Chiseling 30 door jams to get everything to fit right. These hinges were EXACTLY the same size as the old. Everything fit flush and perfect. We are very happy with these hinges. They came with an extra bag of screws so there was more than enough. The screws were slightly longer than the old. Some tips. Push the rounded part of the hinge into the cutout first. If the hole is too big or stripped, use some toothpicks to close up the hole. Put it halfway in, screw the screw in and then break off the toothpick. Use two if needed. If your door is closing by itself, use a toothpick and shim the bottom hinge on the jam side. If it opens by itself, shim the top. If the door starts rubbing try a piece of wood and hammer to spread the jam where it's rubbing. Hope this helps.

Really nice quality and very sturdy. No squeaks. Pin is not removable! If you are placing existing hinges, do not remove all the hinges at the same time. It is easier to install one at a time. These updates the look of our doors during a remodel. We replaced the doorknobs from mismatched brass and were going to keep the original hinges (brass) because we didn’t really think it would make a difference. They’re just hinges after all. But it DID make a HUGE difference changing out to match the knobs. These are well made and came with lots of screws for installation.

1/3 the cost of those at HD, so I was apprehensive. Fit perfectly with holes exactly lined up. Screws included were slightly longer than those that came out from original hinges. About 1/4" longer in my case. This ensured a more secure install using original screw holes. High quality finish. No slop at all in hinges. No deviation in door swing. They came individually wrapped to protect finish.
