I just received my order and haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but I’ve bought these before and they work great! Super easy to clean, fit perfectly in my Keurig, and make a nice strong cup of coffee without any mess. They’re a great way to save money and cut down on waste. Definitely worth buying again! Filter size is perfect because it’s around the sides and bottom. I haven’t had any leakage and it works well not sure about the environmental friendly part because they are made of plastic, but it holds just as much if not more coffee as a regular K cup and fits in most K cup machines I know it fit in two different machines that I have had

Love having an option of making my own k-cup. I like a variety in coffee that doesn't come in a k-cup. Also if i run out of k-cups I always have a back up! The filler cup is perfect for the amount needed. No mess trying to fill the cup. Easy to clean and reusable so I'm saving money as well. Fit my Keurig Classic perfect. Just remember to line up the spike as to not ruin them.

These replacement pods are a creative way to solve an un-sustainability issue while maintaining a convenient and delicious beverage brew system. One can be assured of the freshest beans and grind this way. The scoop is a clever way to load the pods. With practice, we can load the pod with little or no spillage, while it is still wise to fill the pod over a tray or paper plate. We continue to experiment with the fineness of the grind. A number 9 grind yielded (with little or no compression of the grounds) a load of 9 gm compared to the 10 gm found in prepacked commercial pods. (With "the golden ratio" of coffee to water at 1:16 to 1:17, a 10 gm pod load will produce the optimum brew for a mug of java of from 160 to about 170 ml of water. For reference, note that a six ounce mug holds 177 ml.) Nevertheless, we have had excellent results with up to a 10 oz. cup using our local roaster's beans and grind. The only downside that we have experienced is how to clean and dispose of the used grounds easily and without much mess. We have found that it is best to empty the pods before they have dried out completely, but after they have cooled enough to handle. We use a small plastic bag and bang the open pod upside down inside the bag. Then, with the square end of a table spoon hand, we gently scrap out the last bit of grounds while holding the pod inside the bag. Thus, most of the grounds are contained. A quick rinse in the sink of the empty pod removes the last vestige of the grounds without clogging the drain. After drying with a paper towel or air drying, the pod is ready for another brew. (A reminder: one should never dump coffee grounds down the drain. The sanitary drain and sewer are not equipped to handle coffee grounds which can result in a costly plumbing malfunction.) Incidentally, gardeners recommend using the spent grounds to make an excellent soil amendment and addition to compost. While using the pod adds a minute or two to our morning coffee ritual, the results are excellent and, what is more we feel better about doing our part for a more sustainable planet.

I’ve been using these reusable K-cup filters for a few days now, and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t switch sooner. They fit perfectly in my Keurig, are super easy to fill and clean, and brew coffee just as strong (if not better!) than the disposable pods. I love that I can use my favorite ground coffee instead of being limited to K-cup brands — it’s already saving me money every week. The mesh is fine enough that no grounds end up in the cup, and they rinse out easily under running water. I usually let them air dry overnight and they’re good to go the next morning. Plus, I feel good knowing I’m creating less plastic waste. If you drink coffee every day and want something convenient, eco-friendly, and cost-effective, these are a no-brainer!
