Soo adorable to see the cute full bodied cuckoo bird with really cute chirping sounds and it's little wings that flap out upon chirping and then to have a different melody on each hour, no half hour songs or chimes though. Nice volume too, even on high it's not annoyingly loud. Watching the sweet cute dancers spinning around and the little children teeter back and forth on their teeter totter is adorable, then to see the cute water mill turning and to hear the water trickle sounds when the bird is cuckooing is so pleasant. Just a really nice clock for it's many features including the adorable woodland creatures around both sides and the cute dogs. For me, 'it's worth every penny'!! It'll be a wonderful forever gift and treasure to keep in your home for a life time.. Looking forward to many years with this gem!

This was given to me by my husband. It’s absolutely beautiful! The detail, the craftsmanship is superb. The sound is perfect. It has a light sensor so when the lights are off and when there’s no natural light the music doesn’t play. There’s a easy to get to control knob for the volume and a control switch that will turn all sound off or pick music + cuckoo, or just cuckoo. I LOVE this clock! Beautiful craftsmanship and detail. I purchased a second clock from the same maker and I love it as well.

The media could not be loaded. Clock arrived promptly, in perfect condition, and not a scratch on it. The workmanship and detail is outstanding. The sounds, music, and animation is a delight. Seeing it in person is a stunning experience. I find myself looking forward to the top of each hour. The clock keeps accurate time. I kept the default settings and they are just right. Remove the back panel (just turn 2 tabs), insert 3 C batteries, install 1nail in the wall, hang the clock, stick your finger in the slot underneath the clock and free the pendulum holder, attach the pendulum and faux pine cones, and you’re all set. I’m captivated by this mechanism.

Beautiful clock. We love the moving parts and craftsmanship BUT when the bird comes out to cuckoo it has an echo and it sounds bad. Otherwise, we loved it

I picked this as my birthday present this year. I have always wanted a cuckoo clock, and I'm excited for my family to make memories with this clock playing in the background of our lives. My kids currently run over to watch it each hour, and it's so adorable and makes my heart happy. I also like that it plays several songs, and won't chime when it's dark and we're sleeping As many other reviewers mentioned, it arrives broken, which is pretty annoying for something you've spent $600 on. I was expecting this, but hopeful mine would be safe. It was packaged wonderfully, but once opened, we discovered several pieces had fallen off and needed to be glued back in place. My clock is completely missing a piece, the middle part of the upper railing. We searched all over the packaging, and it simply wasn't included. I have a feeling many of these clocks are broken and missing pieces before they even ship. Overall, the clock works great (so far) once glued back together, and it is pretty cute. My missing piece doesn't bother me too much, so I'll live with it.

The media could not be loaded. Very detailed and beautiful cuckoo clock. The quartz clocks have faux weights and chains which would otherwise need to hang 6 feet. The short pretend weights make it look aesthetic while keeping out of reach of small children. The songs are nice, my only wish is that it played Edelweiss. It really adds character to the room and my 3 year old LOVES to hear and watch the hourly shows. Nice way to introduce the concept of time. Update: It has now been almost two years since I've purchased this clock for Christmas. It has truly become part of the house. The cuckoo singing still brings a smile to my face and a warmth to my home. It has been in use for 2 years and still has not needed a battery change. There have been no issues, defects, or regrets!
