I recently replaced my old Kwikset smart lock (which stopped working properly) with the Lockin Veno Plus Smart Lock, and I’m really happy I made the switch. Setup was way easier than expected—took me around 25–30 minutes with no drilling or professional help needed. The lock has a sleek, modern design with a tempered glass finish that actually makes my front door look better. The palm vein and fingerprint unlock features are super convenient. I just wave my hand, and it unlocks—no need to touch anything, which is great when I’ve got groceries or my hands are wet. It also supports six different unlocking options (palm vein, fingerprint, PIN, app, Bluetooth, and key), so everyone in the family uses what works best for them. I also love being able to create temporary access codes for friends or neighbors when we are away. One of my favorite things is the built-in 2K panoramic camera. The wide-angle lens gives a full view of whoever’s at the door, and the video is crystal clear—both during the day and at night. The motion alerts and two-way audio have already been useful a few times when I wasn’t home and needed to talk to someone at the door. The app is well-designed and easy to navigate. I can lock or unlock the door remotely, switch between Home/Away modes, and manage access settings for each person. It also comes with 8GB of local storage, which means no monthly fees for video storage—huge plus! The lock is a bit bulkier than others I’ve used, but it feels solid and secure. No more keys, no more second-guessing whether I locked the door—and the built-in camera adds a nice layer of security. If you’re looking for a smart lock that does it all and looks good doing it, I’d definitely recommend the Lockin Veno Plus. It’s not the cheapest out there, but the features and performance totally justify the price.

The Veno Plus smart door lock does it all. Its doorbell, camera , deadbolt lock, fingerprint reader, access code reader, automatic door lock, in one device. the fisheye camera displays the full body of the person at the door. The most outstanding feature is the accuracy of the palm vein reader. The device reads the veins under the skin, and it does it quickly (within a second) and accurately. I tried many locks with a fingerprint reader and they all failed because I am over 80 years old and your print is not always detected by these lock fingerprint readers. Well this lock not only reads my veins but it also reads my fingerprints. The lock has its own memory so there is no need to add a memory card and you do not have to buy a monthly service from them. The lock is both WiFi and bluetooth connected to your iPhone so you can monitor the lock and receive notifications wherever you are. The lock has a very clear and loud speaker that allows you to communicate with someone at the door wherever you are. The downloaded app is chock full of features that allows you to customize the lock function to your satisfaction . When you buy a smart doorbell, all you get is a smart doorbell, the Lockin Veino Plus gives you everything you would need to secure the front door. I have to say it again, the palm vein reader is mind boggling quick and accurate. Now my whole extended family (up to 50 people) can get access to our house by just waving at the front door lock. When I initially installed the lock, the video feature did not work consistently. It took a couple of weeks to work out the problem, but their tech support stayed with me by constantly interacting and making suggestions through text, email, and over the phone till the problem was solved, So I must say that the tech support was excellent.

I love the lock and how it integrates with my smart home and Homekit. Unfortunately there is one massive oversight that has become extremely problematic for me! It is the lack of an option to control the voice that confirms your lock has successfully locked when auto-lock is applied. I can't disable the voice all together nor can I control the volume of the voice. The only way to prevent it from very loudly exclaiming "door locked" is to completely disable the autolock feature which kind of defeats what this product is designed to do. I optimistically updated the device's firmware (which was insanely difficult and took hours of failed attempts before successfully updating) hoping that it would resolve the lack of control over that specific feature, but it did not. When in the companion app, I have gone into audio settings and muted every option that mute was allowed; the options that just allowed audio volume control but not mute, I lowered to the minimum setting. After adjusting all of those audio settings, the super loud "door locked" voice confirmation still was present. This is such a big deal for me and my household as this is on a door within the house; not an entryway door, so every time I open the bedroom door this lock is on, the very loud confirmation is startling when in the middle of night and others are sleeping. It is also embarrassing during the day when friends are at the house and the door is constantly yelling "door locked" every time I open and shut the door. Because of how significant this is for me, I wanted to give 1 star review, but that would be a disservice to an otherwise very well made and designed product. *UPDATE as of 4-18-25* Lockin actually reached out to me after I wrote them a message describing my issue and are actively working on a fix to resolve it. That's unheard of is the best of ways! They have been in constant contact providing me any new information regarding the fix and an estimated timeline of the fix. They have issued a firmware update to the actual hardware as well as app updates. They have told me they are still actively working on a firmware update to resolve my issue that should be available in the next week or two. I don't think I have ever had a company work to fix an issue that is an issue for me as most other users are not affected by. I've somewhat become used to poor customer service as the norm, that having great customer service is almost shocking! Personally, I put good customer service right up there with quality of product. Knowing a company stands behind their products and will respond to your inquiries allows you to purchase their products with piece of mind. They are my new 1st choice in security smart locks, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! *Also, they resolved the issue I had completely! Really great service all around. Highly recommended!
