Description

The RVS12A is in our opinion the best slim powered car subwoofer on the market. This sub is a vented and more powerful version of our famous RWS12CA. The performance is better than systems that cost double or triple the price! There are a few things we did that make this have such clean and tight bass that you will feel in your chest.. . We made the enclosure vented and slightly bigger.. We updated the woofer to make it optimized for the tuning frequency of the vent.. We upgraded the built in amplifier and added more power.. We built in a fixed subsonic filter that filters out unwanted frequencies below 30 Hz.. Super slim. The super slim design barely takes up any space in your trunk. Our engineers matched a slim subwoofer with a vented enclosure and an amplifier tuned to perform optimally for this system.. . Huge sound!. This model is like our RWS12CA but significantly louder! It is vented and the amplifier produces more power. You will love the performance guaranteed!. . RCA inputs and high-level inputs. Use the RCA inputs if your receiver has RCA outputs available. Use the high-level inputs if you have no RCA outputs available like if you have a stock radio. Either way installation is quick and easy with this all in one solution. The Power, signal and remote turn-on terminals are angled which enables quick connecting or disconnecting.. . Remote bass knob included. The remote bass knob can be mounted by your dash and allows you to raise or lower the sub volume from your dash.. . Adjustable low-pass crossover. The adjustable crossover allows you to filter out the frequencies you do not want your subwoofer to play. For example, if you know your full range speakers are set to roll off at 80Hz you can set the crossover on the sub to filter out anything above 80Hz

For what they are they offer decent bass. Not gonna shake the windows, but if you're looking to add just a little more bass to your system these work well.

    • Buyers Beware! Steer Clear. Zero Stars. Sub defective after 3 days.
The sub was installed and after 3 days it sounds like the cone is separating and rattling so bad that it just sounds terrible. After 3 days of back and forth they want me to foot the bill to send the sub back in for repairs. Shipping is not cheap. I now have buyers remorse. Buyers beware, go with another company, spend $30 to $50 dollars and steer clear of Rockville. See the actual response I received. Hi Jared, Thank you for contacting Audiosavings technical support. I'm sorry to hear the Rockville RVS12A we sent has a rattle in the center of the woofer. "Blown" refers to when an amplifier blows up a speaker, it usually catches on fire briefly, and smokes, when that happens. This sounds like a different malfunction. Our apologies for the issue! We have a warranty which allows you to send it in for repair. You would buy shipping from your carrier of choice to get it to us and from there we cover parts, labor, and the return shipping. If we can't repair it, we'll replace it. Would you like me to set this up? We enjoy this speaker, well built. Easy to install and usevif you know what you are doing.not over priced at all for power punch ot puts out. Fits under backseat of 2015 silverado after small adjustments

Ok, we have bought two of these over the last few years. Both speakers blew within a week. The box itself, amplifier, and design isn't bad. So basically your paying for the box snd amplifier. Then do yourself s favor and buy another 12" low profile speaker and enjoy. Good design, good bass, with Rockville hardware and 3rd party speaker. We chose a pioneer lo profile 1500 watt sub snd boy oh boy. Worth it! ... show more

Easy set up. Saves up a lot of room in my trunk. This isn’t going to win any sound comps but that isn’t what I bought this for. Just wanted some bass and I got what I wanted. I did actually want the two 12” box but my gf ordered the wrong one. By the time I figured it out the seller told me it was to late to cancel and I didn’t wanna go through sending it back and waiting for a refund then buying the right box and waiting for that come to so I just kept it. ... show more

    • It can start to come apart and rattle make sound distorted.
It's good not great after a while my box started to rattle and I found out that the box was not screwed together but glued. It was solid for a while but it didn't last.
