Wonder Cover lives up to its name! Wonder Cover lives up to its name!
Size: 2PC
We've dealt with scorching hot storm door handles for over a year, so it was a BIG relief to find these handle covers. The shape wasn't an exact match to my Andersen storm door from HD with the thicker, stylized door handle (see pictures), but I was desperate for a possible solution and ordered them. The covers are made of black neoprene, the same material used to manufacture cup koozies that insulate cold or hot drinks. It's soft and slightly cushioned, and the dark color helps hide dirt. The cover is sewn in a 90° angle, with the longest side measuring 4.5 inches. There is some stretch in the cover, and because the shape of the cover wasn't an exact match to the design of my door's handle, I needed that flexibility to maneuver it onto the handle. I struggled at first pulling the sleeve over the largest part of the handle that connects to the door. I finally discovered if I forced one finger slightly inside the neoprene, and pinched it with another fingernail on the outside, I had a tight grip and could pull it over the larger door handle section - and it stayed in place! The cover was a tight fit, and the stitching stayed intact even through all the pulling. One area of the cover puckers slightly due to extra material that didn't quite conform to the shape of the handle, but it's not that noticeable and the cover still maintains its good looks. The fact this sleeve can protect our hands through all seasonal temperatures (hot or cold) makes it a practical purchase and worth the cost. My husband's hands and I highly recommend this item.

Love these for the hot summer and black handles but they will fade. The quality remains great though

Handle temperature greatly reduced
Size: 10PC
This cover is somewhat easy to slide onto the handle. It does slip around when using the handle, but stays on. Our door faces the sun almost the entire day; & the handle gets extremely hot. These covers did make a huge difference, both inside & outside of the full glass door. The fabric seems as if it will last; only time will tell.

This product works! This product works!
Size: 2PC
This product works! We've had a week of 100 degree weather and our main door is in direct sun during the hottest part of the day. Touching it was getting to be like pulling a pan out of the oven without an oven mitt. Which made me start thinking about modifying an oven mitt for the handle. Before I set about cutting and sewing an old oven mitt I decided to look on Amazon if such a product already existed and Viola someone had devised the perfect solution and made it out of the perfect material. Its super easy to put on and fits my curved lever handle perfectly. Thanks to this product grabbing the door handle is no longer a painful experience. I put one on the inside handle too because on the scorching hot days that gets hot also. I think it will be great protection from the cold in winter too. My hands thank whomever created this product.

Great for West Facing metal handles on storm doors
Size: 4PC
We have a west facing home and the metal handle on our storm door gets very, very hot. This is great as it makes the handle workable to actually use.
