Although the chair backs don't provide much (any?) support, these barstools are sturdy and attractive—until my cat started clawing them EVERYWHERE. A matter of hours after I assembled them (easy), all 4 chairs were COVERED in puncture holes from cat claws (see photos.) My cat rates them 5 stars. I rate them 3.5 stars to start (sans cat), and 2 stars after kitty girl "enjoyed" them for a day. I liked the style of this bar stool, but found them uncomfortable. Although they were easy to assemble, but would not disassemble when I wanted to return them. I requested assistance from the seller, I only received an instruction sheet, which I have. The seller said, “Why do you want to send them back anyway?” UPS charged me $96 to build a box to hold these bar stools as I could not fit the stools in the box they were sent.☹️ ... show more

Cheaply made and lack sturdiness/wobbly once assembled. “PU leather” is soft but the blown wood seat back is already chipped from a slight bump into the bar counter. Seriously disappointed in the quality. Assembly was easy but noticed lots of flaws and fingerprints during assembly process. I will keep them but put in an area that won’t get much notice - as I purchased initially to be a focal point in the kitchen. ... show more

I like them for me. But the measurements inside the seat are on the small side for anyone with a "full figure" thru the hips & rear. Seat is 14" deep, with the front of it measuring 15" wide across and gradually reducing to 11" wide in the rear. So not for everyone but if you fit, you'll like them a lot. ... show more

I LOVE these stools! We just completed a renovation of our basement and needed new stools for our bar. I love that these have an adjustable height, foot rest and sides. Since we have done this, our basement has turned into a homeschooling hub for our daughter and her teenage friends. Some will sit at the bar all day in front of their computers, and always comment how comfortable the stools are. I bought these for the seat height listed as I have an extremely tall bar counter. However when you sit, with the hydraulics, the seat height really goes down to about 30" (and if that was the case, I could have gotten the stools I REALLY wanted that had a seat height of 30") They are a bit narrow for my pear shape but work out fine. I like that they have the flexibility to be bar or counter height and I can use them at our next home. They look cute and I love the stitching detail! ... show more
