This cleaner was exactly what I needed for my college apartment. It picked up everything on our floors and did a great job sensing any random objects we may have left out. This would be a great addition to any apartment or home with lots of floors!

I had a more expensive model that lasted 2 years. That dust bin was junk, broken from plastic dust bin hinges. It had a tank for the dirt to be sucked up which was double work. Dust balls would get stuck in the tank hole. Double cleaning: the tank, the dust bin & constantly replacing the filters. I keep a clean home: only me, my dog & my cat who is outside half of the time. And I continue to use a heavy duty pull vacuum once/week and mop several times a week. After 1-1/2 years I tried to get a new dust bin. That company closed shop, toll number disconnected & e-mail didn't go thru. I'm explaining this because that is the reason I went with this cheaper, basic model. After 1 month I am happy with it. And the dust bin has metal hinges for opening & closing. All I need to deal with is the filter with sponge, the dust bin and the screen inside the dust bin, all of which are quick and easy to clean and reassemble. Our daughter has another brand that is basic and after 4 years it is still running! The erabrospro had a high overall rating which was the major factor in me choosing it, along with it being basic. It runs long, well over 1 hour 15 mins. and hits the entire home, 1,600SF. Also it charges through the dock, or the plug can be connected directly into the robot vac itself.
