Color: Black
I am a new mom of 3 (5 and under) and I LOVE this machine. I have had other robot vacuums in the past that were so-so. Most recently we had a Eufy which died unexpectedly and could not be repaired, after only having it approx 2.5 years. So after doing lots of research and still somewhat feeling like taking a leap of faith, we decided to try this bad boy. NO REGRETS. I was hesitant to buy this one because it was so much money. But let me tell you, it’s worth every penny. It does an excellent job of cleaning our floors. We have a combo of hardwood and carpet/rugs and it seamlessly knows when to change modes from mopping to vacuuming. Very smart vacuum. We have had ours about a month now (and run it almost every day, for sure multiple times per week) and it’s only ever got stuck ONCE. And that was on my daughter’s dress up outfit which was hanging low, and had a small string hanging from the bottom which the vacuum accidentally got. But it stopped and informed me on The app it was stuck and after I easily untangled it, it kept going perfectly. This machine is truly a set and forget which I do appreciate. It has large bins for clean and dirty water (so do know it is a larger base station. But again, def worth it IMO), which are easily able to dump/fill. I was worried about the dirty water tank getting stinky if I didn’t empty it soon after cleaning, but so far that hasn’t been a problem. I still probably empty it once a week just out of personal preference and my own worry it will get stinky - which is based off my hand held vac/mop which I do love but you have to clean it after every use AND you have to do the cleaning of the floors yourself. It even cleans the mop pads AND dries them. Need I say more? It isn’t too loud which is a plus. We have no pets so I can’t speak for that. Sensors are great - we have a ledge and it has never had a problem stopping. Battery life seems good - no issues so far. Love how the vac just takes itself home if it needs to clean the mop, empty, charge or anything during use. Though it rarely needs to go charge during a clean in our home. The app is user friendly and fairly easy set up. I also like the ease of use of the mapping feature - better than other robot vacuums I’ve had in the past. Overall I am very pleased with this robot vacuum and mop combo. It’s so satisfying to watch it work and do a great job, while having to literally not lift a finger. I do try to pick up (like get objects out of the way such as clothes, toys, etc) before letting the vacuum go - personal preference. Forces me to tidy and makes sure the vac has a fairly clear path. As a busy mom who gets overstimulated with crumbs on the ground….this has been amazing. My husband even loves this thing (maybe even more than I do?) even though it was a “buy for me” purchase. Highly recommend. We bought the extra 3 year protection plan just because I’m scared of it dying but hope we won’t have to use it! I can update this as time goes on but as for now we’ve only had it a month and are in love. ... show more

  • Simple set up; NO hair wrap! *10 month update at end*
Color: Black
This is my review of the Qrevo S5V model: (***10 month Update at end***) I needed a vac that would pick up hair without it wrapping around the roller (and other parts). I mean *real* FUR from two very, very floofy Golden Retrievers that I can no longer bring to the groomer. One has long, silky hair on top of a typical Golden undercoat, and the other has literal wool as an undercoat. I'm talking Golden meets Husky meets GSD. Literally. The shedding is extraordinary by any standard. Check my photos to see what the vac has collected. When I say they shed, I'm not talking about some scattered strands or a couple of little hair wads here and there. I mean they shed by the bucket full. To top that off there are always large wads (meaning the size of a softball, or larger) of tumbleweeds that hide under furniture. They will randomly appear in the middle of the floor, just waiting for a robo vac to come along and make it beg for mercy. My routine (with my previous different brand of robot) has been to get up in the middle of the night to find it sitting still, red light flashing, and saying 'my brush roll is stuck'. Not so with this Roborock (so far). My previous robot vacs of a different, popular brand did a decent job, considering, but I was having to dismantle them every couple of days to remove the hair wrap from the no-hair-wrap roller. So, when my last one died I researched for days, asked AI, etc., and this Roborock S5v seemed like the one to try - but the price almost made me pass it up. It had good reviews for no hair wrap, but most people don't specify what kind/amount of hair they're talking about. A vac that's really good with pug or chihuahua hair doesn't really impress me. Plus, I wasn't sure about the vac & mop feature. It seemed like the mopping feature was just something else that could break or not actually work. But, I decided to go for it anyway. I got the extended warranty, so I figured it was a safe enough gamble. I set it up, let it charge overnight, and sent it on it's mapping mission. No problems with that, and it was fast. Then I had it just vacuum, then I sent it out to vac & mop. No problems. Quiet. Fast. It recharged quickly. I sent it out the next night to vac & mop. When it was done I decided to pick it up, turn it over and see just how much hair had collected on the roller, fearing the worst. I was defeated. There was nothing there - no hair, no dirt or dust. Nothing. Nothing in the front or side wheels. Nothing in the dustbin! I sat there trying to figure out how to return this thing, because it obviously wasn't picking up anything. Then I decided to pull the dust bag out of the home base, just to be sure. It had significant hair and dirt in it! How?! Not a hair on the rollers (well, maybe two). I pulled the rollers out, nothing there. I was shocked, to say the least. Over the past two weeks I've checked it regularly, and still zero hair on the rollers and maybe 6 hairs remaining in the dust bin, if that. In my photos you can see the ridiculous amount of hair this thing has collected, and none of it staying on the rollers or wheels, not even the little front wheel. Now, let me say that I have ceramic tile throughout and only one rug by the back door (which collects a ridiculous amount of hair), so I can't say how this robot will do on carpet. It does an awesome job on that rug, and yes, it lifts it's mop pads up when it contacts the rug; it also ramps up it's suction on the rug, which is the only time you could say it's loud. And, there's no hair collecting on the mop pads. I have no idea how that can be, but there's none. They stay clean. So, here's a few of the 'pros' I have found to date: Setting this Roborock up was SO simple, even for this 60+ senior gal. The app is seriously easy and awesome, and works equally well on my iPad and Android phone. The vac connected to my WiFi with zero hassle (and has stayed connected with no issues to date). It mapped my house almost perfectly on it's first 'mapping mission'. You can 'watch' the vac on the app in real time as it navigates through your house and see what task it is doing, where it's been, when it's emptying the dustbin, and when it is washing the mop pads. Scheduling is simple to set up, and you can schedule any variety of days & times, and you can schedule it to just vacuum, just mop, vac and then mop, or vac & mop simultaneously - and set any of those modes for different times or days of the week. I have mine set to vacuum M-W-F, and to vac + mop on Sun & Thurs. On Saturday I set it to vacuum and then mop afterwards. Easy. This thing is seriously quiet when vacuuming or mopping. The only real noise is when it is emptying the dustbin or washing the mop pads, and even then it's not what I would call loud. It does get louder when it hits my rug. When it empties the dustbin, there's no 'stink'. I guess it's all contained in the bag. The rollers and dustbin are easy to access, remove and put back into place, as is the dust bag in the home base. The dust bag holds a lot. I can't say how much it holds, other than it's 'a lot'. That said, with the amount of hair I have, a bag might last me a month (although I've pulled the wads of hair out and reused the bag, so there's that). The water tanks are simple to fill/empty and set back into place. No skill needed for that. The mop feature definitely works, because there's dirty water in the tank after each mopping. It also does extend one of the mop pads anytime it encounters a chair leg or baseboard, so it really does cover pretty much every inch of the floor that it can access. The robot itself is a lower profile than my previous robots. It can scoot under the toe kick area of my dishwasher, where my previous robots could not. Now for the 'cons': I can't find any. I just can't. It has performed flawlessly, although time will tell how well it continues to work as it should with this hair issue. Not a negative, but just to mention that it takes up a bit more floor space than my previous robots (I think it's 19" deep?), so allow for that (see photo). My only complaint - to date - is that you have to use the Roborock brand of floor cleaning solution, which I don't want to do. One of my dogs has a habit of licking the floor (ugh!), and I'm not comfortable putting that solution down for her to lick. I'm just using plain water for now. I can pass a mop with my cleaning solution of choice every so often, and that will work for me. I've seen other reviewers say they put Listerine or similar in the dirty water tank so that it doesn't stink, but it literally takes 2 minutes to empty it and give it a quick rinse, so I don't see that as an issue... unless you let that water sit for days on end - or maybe it's mopped up something foul smelling - I don't know, but it's a non issue for me. I have a large house, and I'll hopefully be getting another Roborock (this model) soon. This one will be 'assigned' to the living area of the house, and my next one will be for the bedroom areas. I wanted to give this one more time to see how it holds up, but it's really tempting to get another, especially because they're on sale at the moment. Anyway, that's my initial review of this particular Roborock model, and I'll definitely update if needed. **10 month UPDATE 6/2026: I remain impressed with this bot vacuum. Still zero hair wrap over the past 10 months. None. That’s just unbelievable. I did buy a second one, same model, not long after my initial review and it performs just as well as the first one. One runs in the living area at night and the other runs in the bedroom areas during the day, so each bot covers about 1,000 sq. ft of vac and mop areas. Scheduling and setting no-go zones is easy. I have had no issues with either bot, or the app, or with either bot staying connected to WiFi. The mop function still works well. I have found one of them stuck where it couldn’t free itself just two times. If either died tomorrow I would absolutely buy another one to replace it. ... show more

  • Excellent Cleaner! Well worth it.
Color: Black
We've only had this robot for a couple of months, but it has already proven it's cost. This is how we use it in our home of approximatley 1900sqft tiled home. Twice a week we have it vacuum 4 bedrooms, a common area between 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom floors. 3 times a week, it vacuums the larger common areas including the kitchen, livingroom with aread rug and open dining area. It does a great job vacuuming and takes care of these areas on the designated days without needing to recharge the battery to complete the job. We went from a simple Roomba to this, so you can notice the difference in suction even at the balanced setting. Then every other week we use it to deep clean. This involves a deep vacuuming and deep mopping. This is much more intense and we do it in phases/areas of the home. The large common areas are first. It takes about an hour for the vacuuming to get completed. We do have to let it recharge for about 30 minutes before the deep mopping. But this is the only time that it needs to charge between vacuuming and mopping for us. And the reason for charging is because it gets 99% done, but has 15% battery left, so it goes back to charge. This is my only negative comment. As it should realize it's 99% done and finish the job with the low battery. However, it does do a great job mopping. It can extend the mopping arms to make sure it gets every corner. The amount of dirt and grime it picks up with the use of so little water is surprising. Even with the uneven tile floor we have. It can all be done in a day with a charging in between. We haven't used the lighter mopping options yet as we don't generally find a need to mop more often. The robot itself is easy to clean. I did not find the parts diffcult to remove and put back. I also like the fact that it doesn't go around ramming into everything like the Roomba did and the initial mapping of the entire house was incredibly fast. After that it just improves on its maps as it cleans. The app is easy to use as well and give you great control for editing the maps. ... show more

  • Great Navigation, excellent on Hardwoods, great on my area rugs compared to some of the competitors
Color: Black
I purchased the Roborock Qrevo S5V based on the solid reviews and the fall Prime Day sale price. I waited a month to write this review as I wanted to allow the unit go through its paces. I must say I am extremely impressed with the performance of this unit. It has exceeded my expectations with a couple of very minor quibbles. All the good : Navigation via Lidar is fast and accurate. This unit replaced a "vison only" navigation robot vacuum that never worked very well from a navigation standpoint. This unit quickly mapped my main floor which is around 1800 sq ft. consisting of mostly hardwood with some tile (bathroom and laundry room). I also have a number of area rugs. I have the unit set to vacuum first followed by mopping. From a cleaning perspective, it does an excellent job. My floors haven't looked as good since they were 1st installed. As a bachelor, let's just say mopping isn't my #1 priority. I have the unit vacuum twice a week during the evening while I'm sleeping (which works great with the lidar navigation) and vacuum / mop weekly while I'm sleeping. The unit has yet to get lost or stuck, and it is easy on my area rugs (my prior unit was a vacuum only unit that would "chew up" the corners of several of my lighter area rugs). This unit is much easier on my area rugs (there is one corner I have to straighten out, but at least the rug is not wadded up like my "vision only" unit). Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase as my floors look great and would highly recommend this unit. Minor quibbles - ok, so nothing is perfect so here ya go. 1. Roborock did not include even a sample of their branded floor cleaning fluid. For a unit that lists for almost $1000 ($899 at time of writing), they should've included a small sample of their branded floor cleaning solution - it would be a great marketing ploy and something they should not cheap out on. Minor quibble 2 - battery life - I understand that I have a fairly large area to clean, and, running a vacuum pass prior to then running a mopping pass will take extra time - I start the weekly run to vacuum followed by mopping at 11:00 pm and the unit is still not finished when I get up at 6:00 the next morning. over 7 hours later, the unit is still trying to complete the cleaning run. It does finish the job shortly after I get up, but that is a long time to clean 1 floor of my house. The unit makes a number of trips to the central hub to reload on floor cleaning solution, battery charging, etc. It's a minor quibble Since it runs while I'm upstairs asleep, no big deal. If I had guests in the basement, it would likely keep them up since the unit would be rolling around all night. I'll give it 5 stars since I can't give it 4.75 stars. The issues are so minor, they don't warrant losing a star. The unit would be a 10 out of 10 with a bigger battery, a bigger reservoir for cleaning fluid in the robot, which I think would lead to a faster completion of the vacuum / mop job. But, I certainly cannot complain about the results. ... show more

  • Works great but be prepared for some big frustrations.
Color: Black
4 months later: Still amazing product that does most of what it promised. Good: Works nicely. Quiet. Not too slow. Goes over carpets. Large dust bins, water bin, wastewater bin. Good automation on the App. Does a great job vacuuming and mopping. You can set it to flow the direction of the floor boards. Good reach into corners, around table legs, etc. Bad: Lidar creates only a rough and sloppy map and editing the results it is not possible. You can edit obstacles and zones and divide rooms but not much else. I redid my maps 4-5 times before I got something workable. If you forget to remove an obsticle during mapping, you have to start over. Sometimes you need to draw division lines to separate rooms and add no-go zones. This is extremely limited and does not work as it should. For example, I was not able to separate a hallway from a living room because of diagonal or offset walls. Despite what they show you on the website, the map is not 3d—you only see a pixelated top-down view. The map's icons are so tiny that will need strong reading glasses even when zoomed it. Maps have gotten corrupted and I had to recreate them. Switching to another map involves "restoring" a previous map, a confusing choice of words. I doubt they will ever fix the poor UI of the App. They haven't in four months. Does not smoothly work on two floors as promised. To use it upstairs, I have to bring the entire base + vacuum upstairs. It has to be in the exact location every time or the vacuum won't find the base station. Additionally, you have to switch (they call it 'restore map"). Same routine to bring it downstairs. (No, you can't just bring the vacuum upstairs—the base unit has to be there too. I tried and it got confused.) I always use the highest amount of water use. On the smaller settings, you can see dry streaks where no water comes in touch with the floor. The temporary internal dustbin collector gets clogged and and needs to be cleaned frequently. Same with the dust filter. I assume this is due to the fact that the wet mop comes in connection with the dirt before it gets sucked up. I wish there was more separation between vacuuming and mopping. It helps to to use the Mop AFTER Vacuuming function instead of Vac & Mop. Obstacle avoidance is mediocre. Only avoids larger objects. You have to remove any cables, toys, etc., or the unit will roll right over them and get entangled. It goes over carpets if they are not too deep or too floppy. The cliff avoidance does not work. You have to draw a no-zone area to avoid certain areas like stairs to prevent it from falling down. Some parts, like the latches of the wastewater/fresh water bins/dust collector/brush assembly are made of plastic and I expect that they will break soon after the repeated bending required. Overall, it's a pretty good product but I wish the UI was more refined and some of the parts built more durable. ... show more

  • Works really well
Color: Black
Love it! I had no idea what to expect but I recently purchased a new house that has dark wood floors and I have a German shepherd malinois mix so we get hair, lots of hair and dirty foot prints. I never noticed the amount of hair and dirt in my other house because our floors are light. These new floors had me vacuuming and mopping every other day. I don't have time for that so I figured I'd try this and hope the tech is better than the past robot vacuums I've had. First this does mop and vacuum at the same time, which is great. It also empties itself which is key since we have ALOT of hair. It's does a really good job. I love that it uses lidar and maps our whole house. I was able to sent it to locations it couldnt see to map more. I've mapped 2300 sf. I don't use rountines, just zones when I feel a room or two needs cleaning. I don't move much other than dog toys. I does a great job moving past obstacles and switching from wood to area rugs. One minor thing is the dust bag is not reusable. You are supposed toss it and buy a new one. At this rate I think we will need a new bag every 2-3 months. My husband suggested we try sucking out the dust with a shop vac to lengthen the life of the bag. We will see how that works. ... show more

  • Hands-Free Cleaning That Actually Delivers — A Game Changer!
Color: Black
I finally upgraded to the Roborock Qrevo S5V, and wow — it’s everything I hoped for and more. This is not just another robot vacuum; it’s a full, smart cleaning system. Cleaning Power The 12,000 Pa HyperForce suction on this thing is insane. It picks up everything — dust, crumbs, even the finer grit on carpets. The dual anti-tangle rollers work beautifully, especially for pet hair. Review Hot +1 Even in turbo mode, the noise is manageable, and it’s way more effective than my old robot. Smart Mopping System The mops on this bot are not simple static pads — these are dual spinning mop heads that rotate fast, like a real scrub. Review Hot +2 How To Tech Info +2 The FlexiArm is a brilliant touch: it extends out near walls and corners so the robot doesn’t miss edges. Roborock US Official Store +1 And when it hits a carpet, the mops lift automatically (about 10 mm) so it doesn’t get damp. Roborock US Official Store Dock & Maintenance I love the multifunctional dock. It doesn’t just empty the dustbin — it washes the mop pads, then warm-air dries them so they don’t smell or grow mildew. Roborock US Official Store The dust bag holds a ton (2.7L), so I don’t worry about emptying it every single day. Roborock US Official Store Water Control The water flow is super customizable — 30 different levels — so I can choose how wet the mop gets depending on my floors. Review Hot That precision has helped a ton with balancing between effective scrubbing and not drowning sensitive wood or laminate. Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance Powered by LiDAR and something Roborock calls “Reactive Tech,” the Qrevo S5V maps my house extremely well. Roborock US Official Store It avoids clutter, and I’ve set up no-go zones via the app. I was surprised at how well it detects legs of tables, toys, and random stuff on the floor. App & Usability The app is pretty solid. I can schedule cleanings, adjust suction and mop settings for different rooms, and review cleaning history. According to users and reviews, it supports multi-level maps with SmartPlan, so it’s great for bigger homes. The Insider Review +1 Maintenance & Longevity Because of the self-cleaning dock, maintenance is a breeze — less frequent manual work is needed. According to real-world testers, you can run weeks without having to empty or scrub down parts. youtube.com Also, the warm-air drying helps prevent stinky mop pads over time. Roborock US Official Store Trade-Offs / What to Know The dock is fairly large, so you need enough floor space for it. Some reviews note that on very fine dust or very sticky debris, you might want to run a second pass or bump the suction. Vacuum Wars While it’s very good at avoiding most obstacles, it's not perfect — you’ll want to tidy up cords or very small items. A few users report occasional app hiccups. Vacuum Wars +1 Bottom Line If you’re looking for a robot vacuum-mop that actually reduces your housework, the Roborock Qrevo S5V is one of the best investments you can make. It’s powerful, smart, and smartly maintained — and the hands-free dock means you don’t have to babysit it. For the price and features, you’re getting top-tier automation and a real deep clean. • If you have a ton of kids use this for vacuum and get a swifter mop.
Color: Black
This is great suction great, just realize if you have a home full of kids then it’ll have a harder time keeping up and the maintenance is more. The mopping function does really mop. More like slops. If you never get anything sticky on the floor I’m sure it would do good. Sensors are good, the navigation qualities are great. I love coming home to freshly vacuumed carpet lines. I don’t know if any of these robots would be able to handle mopping up after my four kids but the vacuuming is amazing. It randomly disconnects from the WiFi, not often maybe twice a month so not a fan of that. Super easy to use especially once you get out set up. I don’t know how to split one clean to do mop and no mop so I have to set up separate jobs if I don’t want it to mop my carpet. I may just be missing something. Now after 3 months of using it. I don’t use the mop function at all. It is very durable. ... show more
