Navigation & Cleaning: Smart Mapping: I like how it maps out the floorplan. The app is easy to use for setting 'no-go' areas where I don't want it to clean. Thoroughness: It is impressive around furniture. It works its way into every nook and cranny, specifically around dining room chair legs. Carpet Performance: It vacuums in parallel lines, leaving nice, orderly vacuum marks. It also automatically lifts the mop heads when it hits carpet—a great feature. Performance: Suction: It has good suction, though it doesn't always pick up everything on the first pass; sometimes it needs a second trip around. Routine: I have it scheduled to run twice a week at night. The Only Downside: Obstacles: You have to pick up the floor first. This was our 2nd QRevo. We liked our first QRevo so much, we purchased a 2nd one for the 2nd level of our home. QRevo will let you use the same unit for multiple floors, but after a year of doing that, we decided a backup QRevo would be worthwhile, and we would not have to constantly be carrying it up and down the stairs. We went with the newer QRevo this time… the “S” model. It has slightly better suction and lifts the mopping pads a bit higher than the original QRevo. QRevo also has other more expensive models which heat the water and have an arm that extends out to clean along the baseboards. Both our QRevos clean along the baseboards quite well. And we use hot water when we fill the clean water bin so we really did not need those features. Also, a number of reviews said they were having problems with the arm that extends. Typically we have the QRevo vacuum and mop 2-4 times a week. We use the Roborock cleaning solution once a week, and only hot water the other times. The QRevo CAN vacuum and mop at the same time. Sometimes we use it like that, but more often we do a VACUUM only run on MAX followed by a MOP only run on MAX water. Max water is NOT sopping wet. It dries in a few seconds, but we live in an arid state. The only times we use swiffers on our tile and vinyl floors is if we have dried mud from the dog’s feet or super-sticky stuff from food that has dropped on the floor. Just for grins, we swiffered the kitchen floor yesterday with the brand-name Swiffer floor cleaning pads to see how well the new Qrevo had been cleaning. Bottom line: QRevo #2 was doing a GREAT job. The installation of the QREVO was quick and easy. As of 2024, you have to install it on the 2.4 Band of your Internet. Would we buy the Qrevo again… absolutely! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this product so much! It generated the map itself and even detected the stairs! You can add restricted areas in the app, change the settings of mopping and vacuuming in the app in a very easy way! Also, it cleans the mop itself several times during the mopping of a big area. You can schedule the cleanings or do it as needed! Clearly it is worth the money! I had it for more than a year and love it so much. It is not noisy and the quality of the cleaning is high ... show more

I would not recommend purchasing a Roborock. Before my robot was a year old, I had to send it in for repairs due to it constantly malfunctioning. The process took almost four weeks and required me to ship the robot and ENTIRE docking station, (with containers) which was very inconvenient. Shortly after receiving it back, the robot started malfunctioning again. The functionality of the Qrevo S is horrible. If the sensors have any dust on them at all, the robot struggles to dock and will repeatedly back up and pull forward without successfully connecting to the base. It also does not empty the dust bin throughout the cleaning process. It only empties the bin when the job is complete. The opening to the dust bin is very small compared to the only roller on the unit, causing hair and dirt do not enter the bin properly. Instead, it clogs around the roller, causing additional malfunctions. This model has a removable tray that hold the cleaning solution and washes the mop pads throughout the cleaning cycle. I recently discovered dirty mop water collects underneath this tray, which also has to be cleaned. Otherwise, with the next use, that stagnant, dirty water will be circulated throughout the tray while the pads are being rinsed. Other models may not have these issues, but for $800 the Qrevo S is definitely not worth the money. ... show more
