  • Great seat....
I highly recomend, this seat. It fit my Troy-Bilt super bronco. I was able to use the original bolts, and did not need to modify. I received the order promptly, and saved money compared to a original seat. Seems to be made solidly. It also has a variety of bolt patterns for many models.

  • Good replacement for cracked up craftsman seat, no mods required
Perfect fit on craftsman LT1000. Doesn't slide up as close as original but I always had it back anyhow.

  • Very good quality and designed to fit a wide range of lawn tractors.
My John Deere high back seat would not let me reach the control lever on a rear pulled implement. The fix was a combination of extending the lever and also installing a low back seat. This seat worked perfectly . After drilling new holes in the seat bracket, the new seat attached perfectly. An operator presence safety switch was required for the new seat but the wiring connecters were the same. I can now quickly switch seats for mowing or fertilizing. The quality of the new seat is very good but of course not as comfortable as the John Deere high back seat. ... show more

  • Overdue
Absolutely love it. Yes, I had to drill some holes and go to the hardware store to get proper sized bolts. But well worth it! I have a 35 year old Wheel Horse riding mower that still runs good, seat should have been replaced years ago. Very comfortable

  • Toro 416 seat rework
I have a 96Toro 416 ,8 speed in desperate need of a new seat. The original was a (I believe out of production) Michigan Seat company seat. Hunt as I did, I couldn't find a replacement with the proper 5/16 18, 7 1/2" across X 8" back , 3 1/2 back from front of seat hole pattern. This seat was the closest I could find with a 7 1/2 X 9 3/4 ,5/16 18 , 3" from seat front , hole pattern. I drilled and tapped the 2 holes at 8" back from the 7.5 apart holes I needed , Unfortunately the holes are tapped in thin sheet metal ,My fingers are not long enough to reach the bolts with nuts from the center hole in the seat bottom. I was not going to take apart the entire seat to get lock nuts on the bolts, looked like a bad idea if the holes strip out in the future, I'll cut out the center hole so I can reach the bolts. I like this seat it appears to be very well made , better than the original & at a great price. I was able to snake the seat safety switch and get it to work through the center hole in the seat bottom, the hole was off to one side in the Michigan seat Note to sellers if you add the 2 , 5 /16 18 holes 8" straight back from the front 7 1/2 holes ( there's room for the inserts) at the next production run , It would have fit perfect on my Toro 416. All the holes in the seat have very nice threaded inserts ... show more

  • Better replacement seat for Craftsman LT200 (917.273760)
Excellent fit. Actually better and wider seat than the original Craftsman LT200 seat #180597. This vendor might be the only one I found to provide detailed chart of attachment points and thread sizes. I mounted seat on the original mover seat rail with 2 original T50 star screws 5/16-18) and center wing screw (1/2-13). ... show more

  • Riding mower replacement seat, a good choice!
Have to say, I wasn't sure how this seat would work out for my Poulan mower. However, with all the mounting options on this seat, it was the perfect choice for my project and was easy to install. One trip to the hardware to pick up the bolts I needed and I had it installed in less than 10 minutes. Quality also seems better than some I have looked at and the mounting options were better than the ones I found at the big box stores. I also used one on my craftsman mower which worked out just fine. Kudos for a quality seat at a reasonable price! ... show more

  • Craftsman Tractor dlt 3000 dlt3000 (Yr 2003 model no. 917.273461 917273461) - 25.0 HP, 42"
I wish I replaces seat long ago. Great price & high quality. Bottom padding equal or great than OEM; back paddling is less but not noticeable. Easy to replace Tractor Seat 180597 (Substitution: 583171701) ... 10min. My tractor uses the part# 180186 - Seat Pan (similar in other models of that era like LT 2000) and I used the seat's 7.5 inch bolt pattern (@ bottom most). Note: all tractor diagrams w/ 180186 - Seat Pan only show only a seat knob that attaches the pan (center slot) to the seat but there are two other bolts (right & left slots) that attaches pan to seat ... mine required a T50 bit (i.e. Torx 6 point star) remove the 5/16-18 bolts. ... show more
