Not as thick as I expected, but it's quite durable and did provide a softer footing under the pool lining. It's been installed for a few months. I left a foot of the pad exposed all the way round the pool and it works great to keep grass and weeds from growing around the pool edges. I covered the overlap with rubber mulch and bordered it with paving stones. Looks great!

Item looked exactly as advertised. Size is correct (15’x 30’ oval) and installation was easy - My 10 year old helped me. There is a seam straight down the middle but it is well done (see picture). Item spread out smoothly and evenly. There are no defects or tears and the merchandise is exactly what I expected to receive from the seller’s description. I will update later on durability if it does not meet my expectations. For now, I’ve rigorously swept a few leaves, grass debris, and sand off of the surface with a broom that got on there from our yard and thus far I find no flaws in durability. We’ve laid this pad on top of a thin layer of sand which we leveled appropriately ahead of installation.

With a name like Rhino Pad, you'd think this is a thick, sturdy material. It's felt. There's nothing sophisticated about it. It does the job and the size was close enough to work for my pool, but maybe just a little larger than advertised.

There seems to be a mystery about what this product really is. It’s been called “Soft, cushioning, thick, felt-like, padding…”. It is simply a cut-to-size, nicely seamed piece of extra thick landscape fabric. The fabric is marked with which side to put down so that the seam is less intrusive. It is convenient to use, and I feel that it will keep weeds from coming through. I laid it all the way to the fence where I have plants and used it for landscape fabric around those plants. It was difficult to put metal pins in it to hold it down. That’s how tough it is! I can’t say how this is compared to other pool pads, but I like it and I’m glad I bought it.

This was very easy to work with and cut perfectly smooth I had read many reviews before purchasing and people said it was way too thin. However the material is meant to stop anything such as rocks or roots from coming through the pools liner. The product won’t feel like you’re walking on memory foam but it certainly does its job. We put it up under a 16 x 10 x 4’ deep Above ground pool and it has been working perfectly and we have three children and two adults who work in it daily. Very very pleased with the product and the price was great.
