The biggest con is that there is a limit on how many boxes you can purchase at one time, I need two for the length of my hair and I couldn’t get two in the same order, nor could I place a second order. The second biggest con is this dye stains worse than any other dye I’ve ever used; my skin, my bathtub and my sink all have stains. Pros: the color is gorgeous, it covers my grays perfectly and completely, there’s no harsh smell and no ammonia. The conditioner works well and overall this product has been kind to my hair, I have no complaints. Literally every single product, vegan or not has some type of chemicals, I don’t know what some people are complaining about, it’s a product to alter the color of your hair, what do you expect? I bought this color on clearance in a store once & loved the way it took on my mostly gray hair, easy application, how long it lasted, softness, etc. but haven't been able to find it anywhere except Amazon. Covers gray well, smells good but taking a while to stop running color. THEN again I always have that problem. Will definitely buy this one again.

48BV Burgundy - It turned out much darker and more purple than I expected. I had Colorsilk Cherry Red hair to start with, too! It's only been a day, so I can't give a complete review. Read the directions carefully - some shades have different processing times.

Love this hair dye. The color is awesome & works great on my gray as well as on my dark brown hair. And there's no awful overpowering smell that makes you have to open a window.

I did a test strip of hair and noticed no change in color. Did my whole head of hair. My hair does not look anything close to burgundy. My hair is black, very very black. It looks dark purple only in the sun.

Smells so much better than any ammonia products I've used before!!! And the color is great! I bought burgundy and absolutely love it. Not sure on longevity yet, so I rated it 4 stars. Can update when I know more.
