This was a fantastic addition for my Breville Barista set up. I found it difficult to not spill the coffee grinds before tamping. This funnel allows me to grind and fill, then tamp, without any spilling. Love it.

This is a game changer. I have the basic, super popular Beville machine and it didn’t come with one of these. I’ve been living with coffee grounds spilling all over my counter for like 2 years, considering this problem part of the price of having a good americano in the morning. Then my brother-in-law came into town and told me about this attachment (his fancier, digital Breville machine came with one). This works awesomely! It’s easy and quick to put on and take off - it didn’t take long for it to become part of my normal routine. Two things to note: 1. I did have to adjust to how I held the tamper as my fingers can easily hit the rim of this thing. But I quickly adjusted and now I can tamp without issue. 2. The tray is SOOOO much nicer to clean now that I use this thing. I didn’t realize how extra gross the tray got with the coffee grounds spilling into it. Without the coffee ground spillage, the tray basically needs a light rinse to clean it out (I use to need to remove a yellow film with a scrub brush).
