One of the Best Things We’ve Bought All Year
This is one of those ridiculously simple products that completely solves an everyday annoyance. We have a Breville espresso machine, and every single morning—and basically every cup of coffee—we were making a mess grinding directly into the portafilter. Fresh grounds would spill over the sides and end up all over the machine and counter. We eventually started putting down a paper towel every time we ground coffee, which meant wasting coffee, wasting a paper towel, and still having additional cleanup. This completely solved the problem. It fits perfectly on the portafilter and catches every bit of freshly ground coffee. You grind directly into it, tamp the coffee, remove the funnel, and you’re done. Not one speck of coffee wasted or left on the counter. It sounds like such a small thing, but when you make coffee every day, eliminating that little mess from the routine is fantastic. I genuinely wish we had bought this sooner. We’ve already started recommending it to friends and family who have the same Breville machine. If you’re constantly cleaning up grounds around your espresso machine, buy this. You’ll wonder why it didn’t come with the machine in the first place.

Simple but Essential
This 54mm dosing funnel is one of those small accessories that makes a big difference, especially if you're using a Breville Barista or Bambino machine. Functionality: It snaps perfectly onto the portafilter and stays in place while you dose and distribute your grounds. It prevents coffee from spilling over the sides, which used to be a regular mess on my counter. With this funnel, I can grind directly into the portafilter without worrying about wasting grounds or making a mess. Build Quality: The funnel is lightweight but durable. The fit is snug without being hard to remove, and the material feels solid. Some versions are metal and others are plastic either way, it does the job well. Ease of Use: Just pop it on, grind, level, and remove it before tamping. That’s it. It makes the process smoother and quicker, especially in the morning when I don’t want to deal with cleanup. Compatibility: It fits Breville's 54mm portafilters (like those on the Barista Express, Barista Pro, and Bambino Plus) perfectly. No issues there. Final Verdict: For the price, this is helpful if you're serious about espresso at home. It keeps your workflow clean, reduces waste, and adds a touch of professionalism to your setup. Highly recommended.

Game-Changer for Mess-Free Espresso Prep!
The Breville 54mm Dosing Funnel is a must-have accessory for anyone using a Breville espresso machine like the Barista or Bambino series. This little tool has completely transformed my coffee-making routine by making it so much easier and cleaner! The design is simple yet effective. It fits snugly onto the 54mm portafilter, ensuring no coffee grounds spill over the edges during grinding or tamping. I used to deal with a messy countertop every time I made espresso, but now cleanup is a breeze and I don't feel like I am loosing money. The funnel is made of sturdy, high-quality material that feels durable, and it’s lightweight enough not to add any bulk. I love how seamless it is to attach and remove—no hassle at all. It also allows for precise distribution, which has noticeably improved the consistency of my espresso shots. One part to be mindful of, the funnel might be a bit snug when you first start using it so it can get caught as you push the puck in to start the grinding/fill process. A little pull out and it solves the problem. It quickly became second nature. If you’re serious about making great espresso at home and want to avoid the frustration of wasted grounds and constant cleanup, this dosing funnel is a no-brainer. Highly recommend for all Breville users!

Game changer to reduce the coffee grounds mess. I can’t believe it took me years to find out this was a thing. If you have a Breville, buy this ASAP.

A very practical and an easy upgrade to your Breville machine
The Breville 54mm Dosing Funnel has been a simple but very effective upgrade for my Breville Barista Express. It made an immediate difference in my setup. Without a funnel, ground coffee would often spill over the portafilter while using the built-in grinder. With this in place, dosing is much cleaner and more controlled, which makes the whole process smoother and less wasteful. Fit is excellent. It sits perfectly on both my Breville portafilter and my LILQ bottomless portafilter, staying put during grinding and distribution. The funnel feels solid and well made, not flimsy or lightweight, and it’s easy to remove without disturbing the puck. It doesn’t add anything fancy, but it solves a real problem and works exactly as intended. If you’re using a Breville machine with the built-in grinder, this is a very practical accessory and an easy recommendation from Breville.

Fits great on my Breville portafilter
Love using this to make my espresso. This shield keeps the ground coffee in the portafilter basket and I can use the distribution tool and tamper while it’s still on.

Expensive but good
I have to say that you need this. I was surprised that Brevelle itself was recommending it. It helps with dosing and mess of grinding and works very well. Makes tamping easy as well. Just very expensive compared to similar non-brands.
