I should of listened to others but I was stubbornly determined to prove them wrong and achieve this color. Oh, I did it all right and it was real pretty, but it only lasts like 8 washes maybe before you can barely notice any of the color left. I destroyed my hair trying to achieve this, a pale pink and I tried metallic silver, too, with same results. I over processed my hair so bad that it just was breaking in large clumps right off in my hands. I feel lucky to have any hair left. It has been a couple months I have been babying my hair back from the gates of hell. It'll seemingly be okay given time. Never again with these colors. I learned my lesson. Clairol Natural Instincts for me forevermore. Note: Don't get me wrong. This shade of hair color IS beautiful and I got numerous unsolicited comments on it. Loved the color. That's why I will give it five stars. Just doesn't work for me.

I used this for over a year. I like the color, but it was messy and fades fast. It also bleeds for a very long time after initial coloring. Over the last few applications it started to not work as well for me. I am menopausal so it may be a hormone thing, but the color was coming out patchy and in some places pale pink instead of vibrant blue. It was really weird. I ended up switching to something else. I did really like this color though!

I love this dye, but I was sent the wrong color and there wasn't really anything Amazon could do to fix it. I've been using revlon colorsilk dyes for years. I love the formula, how beginner friendly and forgiving this line of permanent dyes can be. I'll always praise how great the quality is for the price point, I never feel like I'm sacrificing quality to save some for affordable dyes. I've used many of their natural brown and blonde shades, and even other digitones colors too. I was so excited to try the silver blue color, but when I opened the package I had received the lavender purple shade instead, it even had the mislabeled sticker attached regardless of the labeling on the box itself. I still really love this product, I'm just a bit disappointed that I got the wrong color.

Wow just wow. I had zero expectation for this item, I got it anyway because it's so cheap and I always wanted to try a light lavender color. I had bleached, very damaged, blueish dirty blonde hair to begin with, it was a patchy mess due to a recent botched dye job done by myself. I've been regularly using semi-permanent dyes for about a year now and different colors faded at different paces, so my blueish dirty blonde hair also had streaks of really gross looking orange, purple, yellow and green streaks all over the place. Again, I had zero expectations for this dye, I wasn't sure what I was hoping to achieve, I guess I just wanted to try something different before I use a deeper dye to cover up my current patchy mess. I was blown away when I dried my hair and took a first look into the mirror, wow would you just look at that. The dye has evened out a lot of my horrible looking patchy streaks and it gives my hair a nice icy silver titanium with a very enlightened lavender tone. The lavender tone is barely visible in the photo under indoor lighting, but you could see it in real life under different light sources. The color actually turned out a lot cooler on my hair because I already had a cold blue tint in my bleached hair. The random orange and yellow tone in my hair now completely gone. Although, you could still see my darker colored patchy streaks through this beautiful icy lavender, that's only because I had a very messed up base color to begin with, and this dye is so pastel, it wouldn't cover up anything that's darker than itself. I could only imagine how good this dye would turn out if I had perfectly prepped blonde hair. I absolutely can't wait to use this color again when I get my bleach job fixed. It was super easy to use, I was also happily surprised when I realized it really didn't stain the sink and the tub. Super easy to clean too if you do get it on the tub or your skin. It also made my already damaged hair look and feel softer, silkier and healthier. I hope they make more colors. I'll definitely buy again.

I purchased this hair color for my teenage daughter. She wanted to dye her hair an electric blue color for school. We have died her hair with many different at home hair coloring box dye and this one has been the best. It was easy to apply and mix. It did not stain her skin or shower. It did not leave color on her towels or pillows. It did not fade after the first wash and continues to hold strong for the color blue. I would suggest this blue hair dye over any other box dye that I've tried. Blue is very tricky because it fades quickly. And this has been the best one so far. I will definitely repurchase. It's more affordable and effective compared to other brands. It does not damage or make your hair look frizzy or damaged.
