I'm used ColorSilk for many years, usually the champagne blonde or the golden blonde. I don't think this new one comes in anything other than dark blonde, and I was ready for a change anyhow. We have hard water here and my blonde shades always turn brassy. I have about 25% gray also and my natural color is light brown. This new Tone + Gloss + Care smells wonderful, kind of fruity and not chemical at all. It's pleasant to use. I left it on the full 20 minutes and it covered all my brassy color + the grays look multi-dimensional. I'd say it's a darker natural blonde now, not ashy, and no green to it like ash colors look on me. Not brassy/golden either, and it's got lots of shine. I don't expect it to last 28 shampoos though, none of these type do.

After spending hundreds over and over for root touch up, I decided to try this product based upon its good reviews. It’s non messy, non damaging, and covered most of my grays. This product promises 60% gray coverage, mine is slight and concentrated so it worked above that for me. Will use again!

I bought ash brown. It's beautiful. It lasts longer than natural instincts brand for sure, but we are only ten days into this. I have shoulder blade length hair and a lot of it. One box did the top 2/3. I could have used 2 boxes but I sort of wanted it to blend out at the bottom. I'm trying to wean off hair dye. I did a few months of sort of reverse highlights with the permanent dye to blur the demarcation line and now the temporary color is to help grow out the length to see what kind of silver we are dealing with.

This product did not disapoint! I have a very sensitive scalp. This product not only delivered what it said it would do, it surpassed my expectations. I am not paid to say this and it this review is not automated from some AI source. I am seriously going to get this again because it has been the only thing to deliver the color I was looking for without being harsh. Again, I have a very sensitive scalp and my body notices everything. My scalp will definitely tell on you if your product is no good or defective.

I let it sit for 20 mins and it barely covered some color. It’s all over bad. Super disappointed. The worst part is I bought a few boxes and now I know they don’t work and they won’t return the rest!

I used this to dye some of my red copper hair back to brown , chose this shade because it’s the closest to my natural color , and I feel like it did nothing. I can’t STILL see the copper . I left some strands copper on purpose (because I wanted both brown and copper) and they look the SAME to me 😅🥲.

I am really impressed with this product. It is affordable and left me with shiny, soft results. I chose Medium Ash Brown that is similar to my natural color. My hair had been previously colored with light brown haircolor. The color was becoming brassy and too light. So, I wanted to return back to my natural color. And, this did it beautifully. It is not inky dark like some brown colors. It is really natural looking with low and highlights. My hair is short and I used the entire package. I would recommend that if you have longer hair, you use 2 packages.
